In celebration of Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Australia's most iconic location, The Sydney Opera House will play host to the legendary - Harrison Ford - at an unmissable Fan Event, presented by Optus.

The forecourt gates will open from 4pm on Thursday 10th December for families and fans of all ages with music, trivia, new fan favourite droid BB-8 and immersive Star Wars experiences.

Limit of 4 tickets per person.

      People may have tickets in their cart that times out after 20 mins causing the tickets to be released, so keep refreshing and you might find some

      In light of the recent events in Paris, Lucasfilm and Disney are respectfully requesting that any props resembling a gun or rifle be left at home for the TFA screening events since it is felt their display would be inappropriate.

        I know you said that in jest, but I actually agree with you. I think cosplayers attending The Force Awakens with blaster pistols is as good as any a giant "UP YOURS" to any terroristy type people.

    Waiting list is still free tickets regardless, I'm sure these new tickets would go out soon, Op should not have the ttread expired cause you can still add tickets.

    You need to fill in with master pass then your own added then submit.
    Just bring the emailed ticket with the $0 value showing to the show and enjoy the show, Just got my email tickets see u guys there :)

        Just ignore that before booking as u could see the seats allocated to you those are your seats.

          Those aren't seats. That's just a number they use to keep track of how many people there are.

          @DEvok: How can you have seats when it's in the Forecourt? The Forecourt is General Admission, like it was for Florence and the Machine, Chet Faker and Tame Impala recently.

          I'm not the one who organised this performance, perhaps they have two shows running at once? One inside and out perhaps.

          I did give them a call earlier confirming there will be extended sets, just don't know when. as for waitlist there's also a limit and that's still going so there must be quite a few extra seatings that they can have.

          I wouldn't be suprised if they even had Harrison ford doing an extra day.

          @DEvok: You clearly haven't been to a Sydney Opera House forecourt gig either … They don't do two shows at once; they do it over multiple days. I've been to many gigs at the Opera House, both inside and outside, hence why I find it hard to believe that your Waitlist is considered as actual tickets to the event.

          Good luck getting off the Waitlist, but I highly doubt you'd gain access to the original event with your Waitlist e-mail.

    Interesting this is. Free tickets which attract no additional fee for printing / admin/ mailing, yet when we pay for concert tickets, etc it always costs extra. I think someone has missed an opportunity!

    You will be subject to bag checks as a condition of entry. Anything that resembles a standard weapon whether real or fake (including but not limited to: swords, knives, firearms, handcuffs, improvised explosive devices) will be considered an illegal prohibited weapon and will not be allowed onto the site.

    Themed weapons should be clearly fake and will be subject to search and check by security at the point of entry. Any items deemed prohibited by security staff must be cloaked at the point of entry.
