Nutella 750g $5, Aussie Bodies HPLC Chocolate Bar 100g $3.05, Real Foods Corn Thins $1 from Coles

950

Coles is offering Nutella Hazelnut Chocolate Spread 750g for $5 or $0.67 per 100G. This is a very good price and is even cheaper than the generic Coles
Hazelnut Spread
at $0.70 per 100G.

This is the cheapest price I've seen on OzBargain since 2013 when Woolworths was also selling 750g for $5. Well, that is if we ignore the short dated Big W Northlake QLD deal.

I went to get some tonight but as Brunswick has the highest number of Nutella addicts, the shelves were cleared out. I've never seen any special cleared out on a weeknight (weekend yes) but they restock them quite often. In any case, you can ask for a raincheck.

Also on sale was Aussie Bodies HPLC Chocolate Bar 100g for $3.05 and Chocolate Chip for $3. This matches the Woolworths price in September so a good time to stock up.

I know what you are thinking and the answer is no, you shouldn't combine the Chocolate Bar and the Nutella. Big fail. However, what is great is putting them on Real Foods Corn Thins which are on sale for $1 (normally $2.20).

This will do nothing for the Nutella shortage

  • +1

Damn. I bought the Kraft Hazelnut Spread (450g for $2.85) last week.

Works out to be $0.63/100g but I would've preferred Nutella.

    • +8

The Kraft spread is disgusting. I had 1 spoonful and it has been sitting in the fridge untouched.

      • +5

        You refrigerate your hazelnut spread?

        • +2

          WTF? Who does that?

        • Madness!

        • +2

          @diddy50:

I do. I love the texture of cold Nutella to eat straight from the jar. As soon as it starts warming up, back into the fridge it goes.

        • @GafferFish:

          Might try it. Thanks

        • How do you eat Nutella during winter? I store it outside but still rather hard to break the chocolate to put it on bread…

        • +1

          @GafferFish: +1 :D

      • I made the mistake of buying the crunchy one and it's worse. Seems to be oily or something too.

        • +2

That's the one i got. Tastes fake more than oily.

  • +2

Yum imagine all the vitamins and minerals it provides, should use this 3 times daily, brunch and dinner.

  • +5

If you are the type that would love to see your name (or your kids') on the Nutella jars, the promo is still running. Ends midnight 15 Nov
    Go to http://www.yournutella.com.au/ to claim.
I've already claimed two labels !
Might go for a third :)
You will need the alphanumeric code on the white lid, not the product barcode. Also, the receipt.

    • Yup I did two!!! My little sister loves Nutella, so does my Grand, got one for both of them!! Awesome stuff.

    • just went to buy it says the promo code is incorrect T_T

    • Darn… I literally purchased $12.95 for 750g Nutella to Myer Melbourne (level 6) yesterday to print name on Nutella…

    • Can i have the codes plz? as i bought 1 yesterday from Coles but then the website says invalid code…pls help! Thanks!

  • Nutella!!!! Having a secondary backup is OK right?

    • +2

Secondary? Why don't you just buy 10 of them.

  • +1

Thanks op stocked up on protein bars.

  • +2

Great deal, going to spread nutella all over my GF Booty.

    • +2

Satisfying your scat fetish has never been cheaper!

      • That's a load of faeces!

  • That jug of nutella is way too dangerous for a friday night and a warm spoon!

  • +1

I've been informed that Roxburgh Park and Broadmeadows Coles are out of 750g Nutella :(

    • +3

Get a raincheck from the service desk and just wait until the sale is over when they have stock again.

      • It's all good, they have it in Stock again like @Haulien said. :)

    • +1

It's also on an end at most stores (at least in WA, unsure about other states or those 2 stores specifically) and on sale until next Tuesday. My store has been getting tonnes in over the last few days, so it's likely they'll have plenty more when they open Friday.

And as neil mentioned, you can get a raincheck.

    • +1

Or also, try to look around. I found the nutella around the health and beauty section in coles clayton vic.

  • +2

Quest bars also now at coles, $3 introductory price. Not sure how long it will be for $3 but went to 2 different coles branches and they sell Quest bars

  • Is the HPLC bars an online only special? I can't seem to find it on the weekly catalogue. Either that or I'm blind!

    • +2

Bought the HPLC bar for $3 yesterday from my local coles

    • +2

Might not be in catalogue but definitely on sale in-store.

        • +1

          or rather lots-of-nuts vs not-much-nuts :)

        • @tonester: Good thing Nutella advertises itself as a chocolate spread.

        • @Clear:

    • +2
