  • Any one help me please. Can I have someone else, eg friend, collect the items for me? If yes, do they ask ID or anything for collecting the items?

    • Yes they can collect it for you but you need to put the item under their name because BigW & Woolies do ask for ID

      • Thanks

  • is there a redemption code that we need to use at checkout page before purchasing these items to be eligible for vouchers ?

    • +2

Not that I know of, you just purchase from now until 26/10, C&C and ebay will email you your voucher on 1/11

  • It mentions that you can purchase multiple items in one transaction to reach the qualifying amount, but does the entire transaction have to be from the same seller? Or could you buy two items from two different sellers and still qualify as long as the total is over $100/200?

I believe you just need to fill your cart with $200 pick-up-from-woolies items

just did my purchase for multiple items, all click and collect for $200, now I just wait for the voucher? Seems weird that I have not been notified that I did everything correctly and can await that sweet voucher, am I all good?

    • +1

your all good, you wont get a notification, just a voucher sent to you on the 1st nov

    • Can you clarify were they multiple items from one seller or from different sellers? I am not sure if the deal does apply to multiple sellers in one purchase.

      • +1

        9) Multiple items may be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).

different sellers should be ok as long as Click & Collect at Woolworths & BIG W is the delivery option for all items purchased.

  • +1

Does anyone know if this is valid for ANY items with Woolies/BigW click and collect? or only from the stores on the promo page?

    • +1

Any items that offer click and collect. You can search all items that offer click and collect by using the URL in the T&C.

  • Excellent. Got a nice pair of vans and a bunch of shirts for $202. Will be using the $100 for xmas presents anyway :)

Was planning to get an ultra wide monitor for my pc but the ebay prices are so ridiculous. The sellers on there seriously take the p sometimes on an assumption the dumb aussies will just be throwing moneh around.

    • I think the shipping costs factored into the price kill it. PCCG for example charge like 100 bucks for shipping for a monitor off their website, don't know how it isn't cheaper.

      • Yeah I am not far from both PCCG and MSY so will probably just buy from them in person…

  • Can we use the october$50 voucher or no stacking

    • Yes I took a punt & used it last month & received this months Voucher

      • Did you spend $100 or $150?

Note sure whether it's $100 item value or $100 payment.

        • the item was $129 but came to $84 or something after i used the voucher & I still got the voucher for next month

        • +1

@RogueWolf: Nice, seems that the voucher trigger is on the item value, not paypal payment. Probably helps that ebay and paypal are separate now.

Good timing, broke my htc 626 a few days ago (and I didn't like it anyway).

Back to windows phone … got a Lumia 830 for $320. Not as good as the amazing June officeworks $199 deal but with the voucher its an ok deal seeming I needed something quick that had a decent camera, fast OS and OIS for video.

Interestingly this offer appears to exclude the folowing Ebay stores

    dicksmithonline
    thegoodguysaustralia
    cincottachemist
    supercheapauto
    masters_home_improvement
    binglee
    bcf-boating-camping-fishing
    big-w-online
    autobahn-au
    rays_outdoors
    officeworks
    petersofkensington
    tarocash_official

    • Unsure why these stores are excluded. Seems many of them already offer Click and Collect. Wonder what would happen if you ordered from them.
Can't see anything in the T&Cs. But Ebay excludes them when you click through from the promo page.
      Anyone know?

    • I think I've got it. For the most part these stores offer Click and Collect (from their own stores) but not from Woolies or BigW which would make sense since they are probably competitors. Doesn't explain why big-w-online is in the list though??

      • Probably because they're trying to promote the click-and-collect-from-bigw-woolies service, rather than the bigw ebay store.

        • Yes sure. But it's not because they don't want to promote these stores. I'm sure Ebay would love for as many retailers as possible to be on board with the click and collect thing. Most have likely declined the Woolies/BigW promo because they are competitors. But BigW is clearly not a competitor with itself, which is why I thought it was odd they were excluded.

@stuckster: Well the whole idea is to encourage people to try/use the service. Why should they give out large-value coupons to people who aren't using the service?

        • @eug:

"Well the whole idea is to encourage people to try/use the service."

          Yes obviously.

"Why should they give out large-value coupons to people who aren't using the service?"

They shouldn't. Of course only sellers who sign on for the service are going to be included in the promo.
My original question was… I wonder why BigW has not signed up for the service when it's their own strores that are distributing the goods.

        • @stuckster:

I wonder why BigW has not signed up for the service when it's their own strores that are distributing the goods.

Are you clear on how the service works? Big W is simply like a parcel locker.

Let's say you buy something from Wireless1. The item has to make its way from Wireless1 to Big W. Wireless1 would pay the shipping charge. It's almost definitely subsidized by Woolies/Big W as it brings foot traffic into their stores.

That is the service they're wanting to promote.

Giving the $50/$100 credit to customers who don't use their partner's stores does nothing to encourage usage or awareness of the service. It could also put Big W in competition with their partners.

        • @eug:

Are you clear on how the service works?

          Yes. Of course.

Giving the $50/$100 credit to customers who don't use their partner's stores does nothing to encourage usage or awareness of the service

You don't need to keep explaining this. I am not questioning this fact. My question is, why BigW is not a partner store for this service!

It could also put Big W in competition with their partners.

Ok. That's the first plausible answer to my original question. Yes I suppose it would make sense that they would need to remain 'neutral' for the service to appeal to other Sellers. But in saying that plenty of stores are happy competing with BigW everyday and have been for many years. I can't believe it would impact the number of partner stores invovled in the service if BigW also decided to join in.

        • @stuckster:
I repeated myself because you didn't seem to get my point.

          • This offer is to promote a service where various ebay sellers can have their products picked up from woolies/bigw.

          • Buying from Big W and collecting from their store has absolutely nothing to do with the service. There is no new service to promote.

Therefore there is no reason why Big W should be part of this offer.

It seems you disagree with that simple reason. That's fine, I'm not trying to change your mind, I was just offering an explanation.

Decent deal on the Bose QC25's.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BOSE-QC25-Quiet-Comfort-Noise-Can…

$352 but you'll get the $100 voucher back making it $252. Rarely see these for under $300.

    • +2

Won't the $100 be off your next purchase?

      • +5

yeah you know what i mean :)

The buyer in me is trying to justify the purchase LOL

    • And if you are travelling overseas and did TRS (tourist refund scheme) you would get $32 back = $220

  • +1

can you buy 2 separate items from 2 different seller with total of $200++ and eligible for the $100 voucher?

    • +1

Yes, up to 10 items in one transaction.

Im from Sydney. The item I want is in WA. Can I buy it n click and collect in a woollies in Sydney?

    • of course

  • +22

Poor Dick Smith - he heard there was an ebay discount and started removing stock and jacking up prices only to realize he is not included

    • +5

Who even owns Dick Smith anymore? I've lost track. The news suggests Anchorage sold it at 1800% profit for $344 million dollars. I didn't even remember this happening. I know they bought it for $20M

      • +1

they are their own entity again. A listed company. You can get some dick for around $1.30 a share.

  • +1

Because I'm poor and unlikely to use this promo…

If anyone from an exlcuded area is interested, I'll donate the voucher I would have had.
If sent the money (Paypal) and links to the products required I will gladly buy them on your behalf and stockpile them until I'm able to use the voucher from said transaction. Once all items are received I will ship however you like to a nominated address.

I will of course include all invoices/receipts/communications from seller, and unopened goods.

Please note, I am not offering to pay for anything out of my own money.
I'm only offering the use of my account (no login details will be provided - I will be doing the purchasing on your behalf) to someone who is unable to benefit from the promo themselves.

My friend inherited $100,000,000 with a method similar to this

    • I'm assuming you'll also provide a rock solid buyer protection program, money back guarantee and handle all returns/replacements and feedback etc?
      lol.

    • It's just an offer. If no one wants to take me up on it, no problems.

I'm sure if I came across a similar offer from someone else I'd also be somewhat… squinty-eyed…

    • If you're donating the voucher, what is in it for you then? Seems a lot of work to get zero in return.

      • I was feeling generous so I put the offer up. As you can probably tell, no one has felt like accepting my offer. Fair enough.

Admittedly I didn't think it through properly (as stuckster points out above). I'm not in it for any kind of reward although a thank-you would be nice once all goods had been received.

Lol was looking for an Apple TV and came across this:

Free necklace with the Apple TV. Wait wat?

    I'm sold!

You wear it when you are watching porn !

  • Do we have to collect the item/s within the offer period?

    • +2

No, most important you make the purchase in the offer period.

    • +1

No but I read if you don't collect within 7 days you simply lose the item and no refund!

  • Thanks OP, I have been on the lookout for a deal on the Seiko Diver SKX007K2 for a while now, it's available here for $244.99. Then you will get a $100.00 voucher.

  • ok, sorry for the complete newbie and dumb comment, but Im confused by the deal,

you purchase anything from ebay and the seller must ship it to your nominated woolworths or big w?

and if you spend $100/$200, you get the vouchers as an ebay credit for later?

    • That's what the description says, with a bit more detailed information.

    • Im confused by the deal,

you purchase anything from ebay and the seller must ship it to your nominated woolworths or big w?

No that's incorrect. It has to be a seller who chooses to ship to your local Woolworths or BigW and the item description has to state that it's an eligible item for C&C there.

  • Spent $200+

  • Cashrewards is down atm, isn't it?

Rookie question> Can I buy from multiple seller to stack up to $100 and pay once to qualify to voucher?

    • +4

Rookie user can't read previous comments

  • Noob question.

So with this deal I can buy any item of PCCG eBay store e.g. i5 6400 for $299 (as long as it says Click & Collect at Woolworths or Big W) and I will get the credit?

Obviously I have to be mindful of the markup from these stores? Sorry just sounds too good to be true, wondering if its limited somehow.

    • You don't get a credit.. It's a voucher to spend at eBay in November.

  • Any monitor deals?

    • There are a few but I can't find any so far that do the click and deliver thing to Big W or Woolworths.

  • Can't think of anything to buy already spent too much last few eBay deals, new phone, new camera, extra len/filter/Flashlight.

    Nothing to buy now

  • Is it is possible to spend 200 and then 100 to redeem both vouchers or do you only get the 1 voucher

    • +2

      only 1 voucher. see t/c 5.

  • I bought a HP N54l microserver I'd been debating about getting, from shopping express, now I can use the voucher to throw another hard drive into it in a few weeks.

    • Do you mind sharing the link for this? I'm also interested

      • Yeah sure, I got this one which is a couple of years newer than my current one which is an n40l. Still a couple of years old though.

Not on special, and it has been cheaper but about the standard non sale price, cheap when you factor in the voucher.

I think there is a newer model coming soon which will be 2 newer than this one, but it suits my needs

  • Thanks OP, always wanted to try out a smart watch, got myself a steel band Moto 360 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171888939047

Now time to plan what i can get with the $100 voucher :)

  • +1

How do you check that the item qualifies? I bought the moto 360 from pcbyte with click and collect at bigW, so I assume it qualifies but is there any way to verify?

    • +1

Well I am assuming thats how its supposed to work. I dont know if there is anything else i need to verify. fingers crossed we will get the voucher :)

  • Hmm this is interesting. The following two pages have different timezones for the starting time of the offer:

http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/clickandcollect <— Says the offer starts at 7am AEDT
http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/clickandcollectfaqs <— Says the offer starts at 7am AEST

Which one is correct? Google tells me AEST is technically one hour behind the current AEDT time wit daylight savings

    • Does it matter? both times are now in the past.
