      • I bought my item at 7.55am AEDT, which is 6.55am AEST

        • Well, still nothing you can do now…. other than wait until the 1st of November.

        • I did the same (after 7am AEDT and before 7am AEST), but I'm not worried. I'm pretty confident it's AEDT and the AEST one is a typo. It doesn't really make sense to start it at AEST when it's just one state while the two biggest cities in Australia are AEDT.

  • Awesome deal, thanks!

  • Is there a link for all items under Woolworths/Big W pickup included with this offer?

    • +1

Refer to item 2 in the post description.

      • Actually item 2 search doesn't search all the items that offer click and collect. You really have to do a search, then tick 'Free Click and Collect' box and exclude -dicksmithonline, -thegoodguysaustralia, -cincottachemist, -supercheapauto, -masters_home_improvement, -binglee, -bcf-boating-camping-fishing, -thegoodguys, -officeworks etc in the other filter function

        • Thank you that's what I meant and now if someone can offer a link with that…

  • I want to get the sennheiser game zero headphone: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sennheiser-G4ME-Zero-Gaming-H…

Although on the listing page it says i can collect it from woolworths/BigW, the item is not listed under http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/clickandcollect

Does that mean i will not get the voucher?

    thanks

What the hell do I buy?! Want to take advantage of the $50 for future use.. :)

    • +1

In the same situation. Cant find anything interesting to buy..

  • Any good compact light laptops? :3

I need an lg G4 or one plus 2

  • +6

Gah; I spent $200.50, but now one seller says they sold a product at a pricing error and want $30 more dollars for it, otherwise I can have a refund.

If I take the refund my total will drop below $200, and I miss out on the $100 voucher.

Otherwise I could purchase the product for $30 more dollars than what I paid originally.

Feel like I'm being held to ransom, possibly by an unscrupulous seller who wants a bit more than what they originally set the price at?!

    • +6

      Tell him to get phucked

      • +1

It's certainly tempting to do that. I don't even know how I'd be able to pay him another $30, I assume he'd want it outside of eBay??!

Today, I already bought about 5 other items totalling $200.50, from various stores. If this order gets refunded and I buy something else to click-and-collect, would eBay be able to aggregate my 2 spends if it's over $200 to still issue me the $100 voucher? Off to read the TnC more carefully…

EDIT: found it :( has to be "in one transaction"
to receive a $100 eBay voucher, spend $200 or more (item costs only, postage not included) in one transaction during the Offer Period.

        • +2

Ignore his message until after you get the voucher, then reply you want a refund?

        • @tikei: Vouchers are issued on 1 Nov. If it wasn't for that, your suggestion would have been quite good. Pity I can't really ignore his message for 11 days.

        • +1

@kati: Any price history showed on the item page? Worth to check to confirm the price

        • +6

          @kati:
I think you can stall him :) I sell things occasionally on eBay and buyers can take days to reply. Your first reply could be "will transfer. How?" He would reply you then you take another 3 days to reply "will do so shortly". After 3 days the seller would message you that he hasn't received payment. You bs something to make it past Nov 1. It's not that far away :p

        • +2

@kati: Expose the $#!t here on OzB.

    • threaten to neg feedback him?

  • -2

No sure if this has been covered, but can I buy items under $100 from different suppliers (paypal shops) add them to cart so the total adds up to over the $100 and then checkout and pay the full amount even if it is from 2 different suppliers ?

  • Is the 128gb samsung evo microsd plus worth to get? Now at 112.95, so getting a 50 voucher. Pcbyte selling.

  • Anyone seen any outstanding laptop deals? Hoping for an i5 at least, DVDRW, Wi-Fi, has or takes an SSD, decent quality…

  • Just realized that I have 10% voucher available, could I have used this voucher in conjunction with this offer?

    • +1

yeah you can use that, as long as your total transaction amount over $100/$200 (depends on you), after applying the voucher.

      • crap, i lost out on a big discount of 20-30bucks :(

  • How does leftover funds work on the vouchers… Does the 50/100 have to be used in one transaction?

And how easy are they to spend? Trying to buy a new computer (parts) and hoping most PC ebay stores accept vouchers…

    • +1

Pretty sure the voucher does have to be used in one transaction. I can't foresee having left over credit on the voucher.

One way to avoid this is to add all things to the cart prior to check out.

Bear in mind, postage cost is not included when the voucher is applied. I found this out last time

      • Thanks dude

does the voucher work for every item on eBay or limited to certain merchants ?

edit: just read a comment below that the voucher is site-wide :)

  • How can I tell which big retailers are participating?

  • This might sound really sly but I have to ask. In t&c it says that each voucher will only be tied in with a single ebay/PayPal account. But what if you create 5 emails for example (just empty accounts) and with each email you create a single ebay & a single PayPal account. All of these PayPal accounts, however, will be connected to the SAME BANK ACCOUNT.

Therefore, in such case, we have in total 6 different email/eBay/PayPal accounts (all connected to the same bank account though).

    From the terms and conditions:
"Only 1 voucher will be awarded per registered Australian eBay account (and if applicable per registered Australian PayPal account) during the Offer Period. If you make multiple purchases which qualify for a voucher under clause 2, you will receive the voucher of the higher value."

If we have a set of 6 different accounts like above ^, are we eligible to get six $100 or six $50 vouchers? From the way I understand the terms and conditions, there's nothing stopping us from doing such a thing. On the 1st of November then, we'll get sent one voucher that corresponds to each of these six accounts.

Like I said, sly, but do you guys think it would work? Yes I know it's a lot of work to create new email accounts + new PayPal account + new eBay account but hey why not?

Each $50/$100 voucher will then be sent to the each of these 6 eBay accounts.

    • +1

You can only link one paypal per bank account

      • Ahhhh I see, I missed that one haha. Cool man, cool.

    • You'll also have to make 6 x $100 separate transactions on different ebay accounts, not really worthwhile since you cant combine all the vouchers together

      • very true, I see what you're trying to say

  • +4

Effectively 30% off marketed as 50% off

  • if u buy from the big w store, is it still applicable for the voucher?
    eg http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nintendo-New-3DS-XL-Console-Black…

    • No. This is ebay promotion not by big w. so buy something from ebay which allows you to pick up at selected woolworths or big w stores..

  • How do you tell if you get the voucher? I'm all ready to buy but I can see anywhere if I go through with the transaction that I am going to get a $100 voucher?

    • You have to buy first to be eligible for this. Then on 1st Nov you will receive your voucher via email.

  • Just a reminder that postage is not covered in the voucher.
I found this out last time.

The ebay one look exactly the same but I can't say they are just as good.

  • Does anyone know if there is a duration that you must pick up the item? I'm heading to Sydney in 3 weeks and wonder if I can click and collect then and still get the voucher?

  • +8

Still can't find anything to buy…. saving 100% at the moment I guess.

  • "Excludes WA"
    Noooo….

    • SA excluded as well :(
      was thinking picking ssd

    • +1

This deal really should have an 'arse' code as in 'arseholes' for excluding us in WA & SA!

  • Can you use any shop that permits Click & Collect at Woolworths & BIG W?

  • OK I get that the purchase has to be from selected participating stores but is the voucher for use site wide on eBay or just for certain eBay stores ?

    • you can use the voucher site wide - but now that there is a trend - they may have this kind of promotion again next month - so you can roll over your voucher again and again. Thats what a few folks here have been doing.

      • What do you mean roll over?

  • can I add multiple items to cart to get to the $200 spend so I get $100 voucher

  • The stuff that I bought the last 2 months to get the $50 voucher.. I haven't even used or opened yet. I think I'm going to resist this time around.

    • +14

Thanks for letting us know, I was just wondering if you were going to buy anything.

  • any flash drive at good price for $12 or more?

  • Any suggestion for IP camera ?

  • I had issues with Chrome timing out when supplying the postcode for click & collect.
I had no such issues with Firefox.

  • Any suggested headphones? They need to be overear, lightweight, I want to be able to also wear them hanging around my neck so need to have rotating speakers. Basically, I walk in field a fair bit for work and sometimes I want to be able to wear them like mini speakers, not straight on the ear. Wireless with long battery would be nice, but really not a big priority. Cheers

    • You want to also wear your headphones on your neck like mini speakers? I don't think those have been invented yet.

      • That would be any headphone with rotating earcups.

        • Sorry, I didn't quite know how to word it. Rotating ear cups as mentioned above is what I was getting at. Any suggestions?

        • @cjb:

          Now it makes all sense.
Depends on your budget really - Sony's MDR-1ABT have ear-cups that rotate inwards for wearing on your neck and sound great too, but they're not cheap. I have the previous model and they rotate the 'wrong' way (the ear-cups pointing outwards), but they've fixed it in the 1ABT along with sound quality improvements and introded touch controls.

    • you could wear a bluetooth speaker around your neck like an 80s rapper? :p

  • Thankyou i just picked up a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 keyboard and a Logitech G502 mouse for $204

  • do you need to do anything specifically on the link (http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/clickandcollect) to be able to receive the voucher? I just bought a SSD $ over 100 from ebay, my ebay and paypal account are both aussie, and i chose the FREE Click & Collect at Woolworths & BIG W as my collection and completed the payment. is that all i need to do and i will recieve it automatically on the 1st of Nov?

    • +1

Yes, it will be emailed to you on the 1st.

      • Just to confirm something he is asking as I was wondering the same thing, I purchased an SSD for over $200 But had no indication or confirmation that A voucher will be sent out nov 1st. Just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything wrong.

        • +1

No one gets a confirmation, as long as the total order was equal to or over $100 or $200 (excluding postage) and you selected pick up from Woolies/BigW you will get a voucher on the 1st of November.

  • Is this offer targeted? I only ask because I don't see this promotion anywhere on the website. I would have thought that it would be plastered everwhere.

Also in the past when I had a look at eligible items it would tell me this product was eligible for the voucher where it tells me its CnC enabled.

    • Yes, it is. Because exclude SA/WA

      • +1

I'm in Melbourne, still can't see the promo on the website

        • The rules are as above. If you fulfill those requirements you will get the voucher. It is not a targeted offer.

        • +1

I just find it weird that it's not advertised anywhere on their website. If I click on the above link then yes it's there but it's no where else on their main page. Surely they would be advertising it more aggressively.

If you guys go to www.ebay.com.au do you see anything about the promo?

        • @nhutty: yeah its in the front page, have a look
          http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/81226/34339/screenshot_…

also they sent emails about it may be you should check your email.

        • +1

Thanks msmhw, it's strange cause I don't get that banner anywhere on my ebay front page. And I checked my emails and no email about this promo (received every previous ebay promo email in the past).

        • +1

          @nhutty:

          Same.. I'm in Melb myself.

      • "(Excludes SA/WA)" is only for OzB purposes. If you made a click and collect order, sent it interstate you'd still get your voucher on Nov 1st.

  • Cant see where in the t and c if it says you cant use a 10% off voucher and be disqualified from the offer?

  • Can you buy gift cards with the ebay vouchers?

    • yes if someone is selling them

  • This seems very popular. Am I missing something??? or is this deal only for the items stated here: http://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/clickandcollect
