This is one of the few cards that allows ATO spend to be recognised as points, so if you don't have a better card (that allows 1:1 on tax payments), then good to know that this offer is available to transfer previously accumulated points.

A minimum Points transfer requirement applies; members must transfer in blocks of 5,000 or 10,000 HSBC Rewards Points. that counts me out ive got only 1000 left over from last sign up deal

one of the worst cards to earn velocity points, 2:1 with either a $1/1 or $1/1.25 reward scheme
so either 0.5/1 or 0.625/1 rate, so 0.575 or 0.71875 rate with this bonus.
