Just keep a wide berth around Mr Bolt this time!

    • took the words outta my mouth

    • -4

on the contrary, EVERYONE should buy one in the hope of mowing down Andrew Bolt

      • Andrew Bolt. I hate that guy. Not because of his fixation with paganism. But because he always elicit painful memories of text analysis in English class back in high school.

Hah I love that photoshopped image

Two wheeled unicycles are the best kind!

  • +2

    Dear sir,

How much carbon does this emit per kilometre?

    • +3

Depends on if the Engin is contain or no contain.

  • +1

Probably illegal for use in NSW

    http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roads/registration/unregistered.ht…

    Scroll down towards bottom

While not specifically mentioned its in the same class as a Segway ( the listing here defines it as unicycle/Segway) so very unlikely you can legally use it in public spaces.

Not worth the $480 if it's illegal.

    • +2

      illegal never comes cheap

      That steroid freak is crazy.

Also: impressive that that thing can hold 250ish kg and not snap.

Man these things are crazy! I love them, and I'd love one!

When I first saw the original segways I was blown away, and it took me a long time to get my head around them. The 'technology versus gravity' equation was well and truly solved - at least as far as two wheels were concerned. Then the other day I saw the guy on TV fall off one that didn't have a handle bar, and I was confused all over again, lol.

Did I say that I want one?!!! $400, wow that's a steal. I'm just going to find a cash machine…

Hate to be that guy, but what is the deal here? There are plenty of others on eBay cheaper (including postage) and they seem practically identical.

    Here's an example: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=2218714…

      Holy cow! $89 + $55 delivery.

      • -1

Oh, that's the starting bid. Well, you'd still expect to get a bargain.

    • +1

Love the BS photoshopped images showing girls standing in the middle and a bloke 'surfing' it sideways. No one genuinely using it.

  • The most fashionable cummutingtool.

  • A revolutionary green product

Obviously. The fact that your plugging a machine into the wall instead of walking is the obvious part. If you never slowed down ever you can travel 7km in 30 minutes so obviously you'll choose this over the 5 minute car journey, who wouldn't!

    How big is the bonut?

  • Doesn't this one have too many wheels to be called a unicycle?

Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English (4th Ed)
    uni-
    uni- /ju:nI/ prefix
[Language: Old French; Origin: Latin, from unus 'one']
    one
    = single
unidirectional (=going in only one direction)

  • Specs say max load 120kg if you scroll down on the link it says 90kg.
