Is battery 2600mah builtin or 3000mah removable? Both are listed on the specs page

    • battery - other sites say 3000mah

  • Very good price, although based on current exchange rate, $140+ is more likely.

  • I have clicked the Click Here for Network Freq but there is no link.

  • connectivity 3G (850/2100) 4G LTE (800/1800/2600 MHz),

  • Personally I'd go for the Lenovo k3 note for another $46 from JD, superior phone in every way from a top brand!

  • 0 stock left

  • Hows the quality? Is support Vodafone network?

  • wtf 160 now

    • yeah, I think it may have been a limited time discount presell deal.

      • Hi, have you received yours ? I bought about 10 days ago, Ever Buying, nothing yet. Hope it will support Aldi mobile network.

        • got an email yesterday saying that it had been dispatched.

        • Received 28/8

        • @altomic:
You lucky man. I am still waiting for mine to arrive. The price has gone up, enjoy your new toy :)

I got the ViewSonic V500 when the Xchange rate was not as Bad…

That phone has a great screen, but everything else was meh … especially the OS.. heck it is SLOW by standard of the hardware it runs on.

OS support is very important, given most likely this phone ships with standard Android like the V500 with no added ODD ball features, yet even at this stage it is not optimised.

The premium paid to the K3 or Meizu xiaomi Lot goes to the OS

That TCL device was promising as it runs on a way better OS but it suffered a recall …

I would go for a Windows phone for the continuous support at the same price level

for those Still want to hunt for it:

Remove the gift pack then shipping is free.

        • But what about the gift pack, especially that selfie stick I so dearly want?

        • The gift pack is directly from Blackview so that will be free anyway.

        • Received this phone today. I was expecting the delivery time to be about a month for the free shipping option but it only took 6 days. No gift pack though.

        • @jackofspade: well you should protest that in PayPal. I screen shotted the deal in case they stuff me around.

        • @jackofspade: moreover the gift pack is directly from Blackview and they should have sent it. http://promo.blackview.hk/p1pro/index.php

        • Bloody hell. The home button doesn't work when I press on it but fingerprint reader works. What should I do? I'm not sure whether I can send it back since AusPost does not allow lithium battery. I guess I might have to live with it and use soft keys instead.

        • @jackofspade: PayPal dispute.

        • @jackofspade: same, no gift pack. At least the Home button works, ordinary phone though, meh screen (blueish, lower red), poor arse camera, a bit heavy, expensive accesories. I prefer the K3 for sure for a bit more….

        • @spy: again, rubbish camera, screen straining my eyes, aaargh!

        • @spy:
I'm contemplating whether to return it. Any ideas on how I can send it back? International couriers are ridiculously expensive which makes it unviable for a minor problem.

        • To rub salt into my wounds, it won't support Aldi 3G.

        • @spy:
Hi, I bought one, yet to arrive. Before I bought I checked and it says 850Mhz for WCDMA. I thought that means it support Aldi mobile. Could you confirm it does not work on Aldi mobile network ? If so, I may want to cancel the order. Thanks. I paid US99 with free gift. Thanks.

        • @Aplpw: Aldi/Telechoice is 900Mhz 3G wholesale i think so it should work according to here but doesn't?

          WCDMA 900 / 1900 / 2100 http://www.blackview.hk/blackview-alife-p1-pro/

Me confused but certainly Aldi and TC don't wurk on it.

        • @jackofspade: just log a PayPal claim stating faulty on arrival.

        • @spy:
Oh so… "Telstra Wholesale mobile solutions are built on the high performing 3G 850/2100 MHz network that reaches 98 per cent of the Australian population, covering more than 1.26 million square kilometres with high data speed available across the entire coverage area." This is why it won't work

        • @Aplpw:
I don't know where you got 850mhz from but this phone only supports 3G 900/2100mhz. Aldi uses Telstra 850mhz.

        • @spy:
Did you lodge a paypal dispute for the missing gift pack?

        • @jackofspade: not yet.

        • @spy:
Thanks Spy. Does the phone able to make phone calls ( not browsing web) using Aldi mobile ? Since it has two sims, I am thinking use one sim for Aldi to make calls, another sim , say Amaysim to use 3G.

        • @Aplpw: yes on 2g only. And 2g reception is very ordinary.

        • @Aplpw:
Put Amaysim in SIM slot 1 for 4G data and Aldi in slot 2 for 2G. SIM slot 2 only supports 2G which is going to be a problem when Telstra and Optus shuts down their 2G network in 2016/2017.

        • @jackofspade:
Thanks Spy and Jackofspade, I will not cancel the order then. I believe he $99 plus free gift will still come up every Wednesday for the month of August. Have to go to Blackview official website.
          http://promo.blackview.hk/p1pro/index.php

    • $11 shipping

      • Remove the Free accessories and it becomes free shipping.

        • $99 USD is the price now. And it definitely worth no more.

  • received today.

pretty nice phone. really like the camera. smooth action.

will test further later. but so far I'm happy with it.

    came with gift pack.

    • Calling quality is good.

    • It looks like an iPhone 6 Plus imitation. The camera is quite poor especially in low light. The screen brightness is very good even in direct sunlight. Overall it's a pretty good phone for the price. A big step up from my Huawei Y550. Now I need to work out how to get root access.

      • i ordered a k3 note yesterday so I'll be interested to see how they compare.

        • Are you a phone collector ???

        • @Aplpw: no, not a phone collector. I posted a deal for the K3 just after I had posted this deal. but the K3 and feedback of it had me intrigued, so Ihad already bought the Alife but then thought the the K3 sounded better. the Alife came with the gift pack which I thought I can on sell to offset the cost of the Alife. blah blah.

TLDR: turns out K3 is more awesome than Alife. Alife antutu = 20,000. K3 antutu = 45,000.

          blah blah.
