  • Bought one at Big W Garden Square. And i know why it is $15… This is the most confusing piece of gear. Overly complicated for what it does. Thought it was a GPS speedo and data/ tracker, which i am sure it does… but the instruction manual alone is massive for something that should be much simpler… Just setting the time is a major mission…

    Save your $15…

Useless. What is the point in GPS if it does not have a map & directions displayed?
We all have a GPS already in our phones, which can sit in our back pocket and log the ride, using much better software, and automatically upload it.
Note no wheel sensor, so speed reading will lag and be less accurate.

However, these might be useful for spying purposes. Hide on the ex-girlfriend's car to find out where she is going.

    • You can use it to track your ride, then get the details later. It is more accurate than without GPS.

But any smartphone will do a much better job. And you already have it.

WRT wheel sensor, GPS is only more accurate if you hold a steady speed in a straight line. Individual readings are subject to large errors and speed responds slowly.
You can use a GPS to calibrate your wheel-sensor speedo.
