I still have my one from Gearbest which I have not used as yet.

Hopefully people read this, realise it's junk we don't need and save our planets resources.

(Here come the negs ! :)

        I find it quite handy.

      • I use the bottle opener and the ruler all the time. Who else has a bottle opener in their wallet?

      • Nobel, but this is still OZBargain…

        If free (or very near)…

    • Wonder where I would use a ruler to survive!

  • -2

    No philips screwdriver ???

    • that wouldn't make sense as the key feature is to be flat (almost 2d) , the philips head requires use of the third dimension height.

      • that wouldn't make sense

that's probably what I would use the most.

    • +1

I also got it but never use it.

if u put it in your wallet..
you might find a use for it.

        • Because I always forgot I have it.

I thought I would have a use for it. Completely forgot about it until customs scanned my wallet and asked me to get rid of it. That's honestly the only time I've taken it out of my wallet.

        • +4

Reminded me of the condoms. You leave it in your wallet but will have zero opportunities to use it.

I used it once to open to cut a sticky tape on a delivered parcel.

    • And you never know when that's a matter of life and death. Worth it right!

I got my old one confiscated at airport security. Forgot it was in my wallet.

    • Ditto.

    • Also got mine confiscated. I'm really going to pose a threat to air safety with a blade that's about 2cm long.

    • What did they say? Were you guys put on a register or something or was it just a verbal warning?

      • +4

Probably not if they're white ;)

    • Me too, funny thing is it was the second time I'd been through that airport (TPE) in a couple of weeks and that was after MEL, SIN, HKG, MFM as well.

    • woah, didnt see this comment, but exact same thing happened to me. tiger airways lmao.

    • Me too

  • For 2c, I've got one as well - lets see how long it stays at the bottom on my drawer before I use it. :)

  • Thanks OP! =)

My Ozb evil spirit is saying "buy it! It is two cents". I still got the one from gearbest (never used) but I reckon I can make money (cents really) out of selling it as scrap metal by the gram.

  • Thanks Rep. Could not resist.

  • Bought 2 just because …

  • I was stuck on an island with a carton of home brew and one of these saved my life.

  • Thanks OP:)

  • Great! Thanks OP

  • Warning guys - don't forget to take these out of your wallet before going through airport scanners. I got one from gearbest and it got confiscated. Was pretty peeved, so thanks op for restoring my ozbargain.
Handy for opening bottles when out and about.

Don't leave it in your wallet when travelling by plane. That was my 37c down the drain :-(

    • Same thing happened to me. Haha

Got one of these from kogan for free way back when…..it has been the most useful tool ever at work.

If you cut boxes at work and wear a lanyard, put this tool on it and you will never need a stanley knife again :)
Caution: when swinging around your lanyard it can give you minor cuts on your arms, but the trade-off is worth it!

  • I am buying the leather bag for 1 cts.

  • been 8 months, still waiting on my last 1 cent multi tool.
