This is my first posting here, I just grabbed them for our family, won't get any cheaper from experience.

I know this is only such great deal because of the limited code SCORE15 which was posted here, but only lasting another 9h I thought it helps those who might otherwise be too late!! (like me, if I hadn't seen it today)

——————- The deal is about to end in 9h!!! ———————-

VIP PLUS is listed as $79.99, which comes down to $67.99 with the code and gets you:

Unlimited Entry into the Gold Coast Theme Parks
Sea World
Wet'n Wild
Movie World
Paradise Country (this one is what makes it VIP PLUS)

I hope I posted correctly, it was posted similar before, but marked "expired", because the code expired - this code lasts until the offer ends, so hopefully it helps those of you who haven't seen it yet.

ENJOY the GOLD COAST - we LOVE it here!!

PS: I bought using different accounts, did that before, Groupon doesn't mind - well at least they didn't for us in the past, it's money for them anyway. Have FUN!!

this or the buy 3 get 1 free better?

    • This, with referral credits sent between the accounts when purchasing, and using cashback links ;)

      • True, that's about 2h of "work" to open accounts, always using the right links (and hoping they track) and stuff though :-) However, that's the true OzBargain spirit ;)

        • +1

          Shouldn't take 2hrs :P

And for $30 Groupon credit, plus $10.20 cashback, I'd say it's worth it :)

          @Spackbace:
some peoples time is worth more than others

    • This one in my opinion, based on being 5 in the family.

But even if you are 4 people, the buy 3 get 1 costs $75 per person. (299 for 3 passes / 4 people)

Also, the 4 for 3 deal is NOT the PLUS version, you don't get entry into Paradise Country.

And for locals, every visit until end of June is an almost instant win for the kids, they have scratch cards for every new VIP (only those who bought after I think 15th of May 2015, so our old passes didn't count)

All together, this one is better :-) Correct me anybody if I'm wrong.

Oh well, negative is - you got to buy them separately, but that's it - in terms of money, better deal :)

    • B3G1 deal is $99.99 each, so $299.97 or $74.99 each. Therefore this is better.

      • Plus with 4 unique accounts, the ability to create $30 credit, and an extra $3.40/cashrewards click through

So $271.96 for 4 tickets, with $30 Groupon credit, and $10.20 coming back later on via Cashrewards :)

    • Oops already covered above.

  • any advice on which theme park to visit if I'm only spending 3D2N (reaching in the afternoon, departing on 4pm on last day) in Gold Coast - traveling as a couple? :)
Can't seem to find any single admission tix price!

Single Tickets at the Entry are way too expensive, they charge $50 or so for 1 entry!! You are still better taking a yearly deal, as funny as it sounds.

Or, if you get lucky, sometimes they sell the single entries cheap in shopping malls or tourist ticket offices, but not online as far as I know.

Regarding choices, Wet 'n Wild is too cold now anyway, so either Dreamworld or/and MovieWorld+Seaworld+Paradise-Country or/and Outback Experience.

They are all good, just depends on what you like really.

Go to their websites and have a look at the maps, you get an idea - cheapest is doing a deal like this one and go to a few - single entries like said, hard to get cheaply.

      Anyway, have an fantastic holiday!!

      • many thanks to you guys for your kind help! Since a day tix is going to cost $50+, might as well get a $60+ unlimited tix and we might just be able to venture to different parks on different days despite our limited time here in Gold Coast! Hmmmm :)

Will be heading there in August!

      • Wet 'n Wild is too cold now.

Not if they are coming from Vic or Tassie. If you can handle water temps below 28° I'd hit the water parks as they are at their quietest for the next couple of months.

        • Just came back, 26 outside temp and water was good. Warm for all but Qld / Nt I'd say.

If you happen to be travelling soon, https://themeparks.com.au/box-office/sale.aspx has some cheaper single entry (as well as multiple entry) tickets. I believe they're available until 30/6/15.

Go to Dreamworld if you want to have a good day out. Movieworld had the green lantern and superman escape rides closed when I went there a few weeks ago.

Its a very limited theme park if you want to go on exciting rides.

Wet n Wild is great in summer compared to WhiteWater World which is aimed at a younger audience

    • Movie world is rubbish, has one good ride (the superman one). Wet and Wild is pretty good if you're not scared of heights and speed. I think WnW is heated in the colder months.

      • You forgot the skooby Do roller coaster.

    • If you are up for it Movieworld and Wet and Wild. If you find Wet and Wild is too cold do dreamworld because Seaworld is too far away from Movieworld to really be able to do both in a day and Dreamworld is (IMO) better than Movieworld.

  • Holding out for the Gold VIP that includes entry to the special events. Bit surprised there hasn't been ANY mention of it on the sites so far. The events are definitely happening this year, so maybe they will be announced at the end of the 4for3 promo?
That, or they are making the events stand alone this year? (Can't see that being a popular move)

    • its crap been once n never again. totally packed, boiling hot and fake snow finale.. then took us 1 hr just to get out of car park.

  • Paradise Country… Any thoughts?

    • -1

Boring unless you're a tourist that has never been to Australia.

      • My 2 and 5 yo loved it, that and the tourists.

        • Thanks, I havnt been there yet but plan to with the kids. 2.5yr old should love it.
          Do they do pony rides?

        • @dan76n:
No pony rides, but has a good petting zoo for that age. Currumbin was good too, $20 per head on Groupon atm.

    • Oh is that what PC stood for? Damn, I thought a computer was bundled in the deal.

  • 15% discount is only on 1 pass , so if you buying for family lets say 6 people, only 1 will be @ $68. How can you buy all 6 at this price ?

    • +1

      6 accounts

  • i need 5 so i bought 4 for 3 and extra one through groupon with cash rewards. couldnt be bothered signing up 4 more accounts. no paradise country though. went last week.. now regret buying it. has been 3 yrs and not much has changed.
