    So my weekly update, every Friday it seems,and another 10 was delivered when i called. Its seems they receive their shipments every Friday @ 3-4pm (just like last week. Their reason this week was because there was a holiday last week in HK ( its true, as its the same deal for other online HK based stores). They are not sure how many they are sending next week…most likely another 10. BTW i decided not to cancel the order because i thought by the time i probably receive it(probably in a + months time) ill use it as a gift instead lol…saves me from searching again for a present. Til next friday then folks!!!

    Also i asked them for assurance as to whether they are going to get all 200 orders in… In reply they said yes since they have already put a deposit on the consignment. The big question is when..

    They just swapped me from In Order to Pending (Order Status)
    This is just madness, at least they should gave our money back and ask for the payment when our order arrived!!
    This is so unfair. They hold our money back and just wait until let just say 2-4 months AGAIN until we got our item.(10 Phones x 18 weeks = 180 phones)

    By that time the value of Sony XPeria Z2 will become way more depreciated since Z4 will be out next week.
    Folks, I advise you guys to withheld / draw your money for refund. Not worth the wait, especially with their crappy unfair queque system.

  • It has been 3 days since I'm trying to call them and they doesn't answer the call… Starting to get worried…

    When they pick up, I guess I will ask for a refund. Waste Screen Protector and Bumper, but at least I'll have my money back.

    OK GUYS-After more than a month wait, I have to cancel the order. You call them again and again—Same old story, Same old lies, Same old rubbish (if they pick up your call). I got a chance to speak a person, and cancel my order straight away.The following may be the reason they sold so Cheap phones

    1-The were short of cash flow. So tried this old trick and later refused to deliver. I am sure they must have collected around 60K and must have revolved this money elsewhere while you wait patiently for your phone that will never arrive
    2-They are receiving refurbished ones. that's why it is so cheap and so hard to get. Otherwise i cant understand any reason for getting 10 every week. This phone is no longer a hot property for a supplier
    3-The company is about to file Bankruptcy. Be careful guys. This company has changed names in the past few times
    Whatever the reason, this company has lost one potential customer in any case. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM NO MATTER WHAT PRICE THEY OFFER.

    And to all who are hoping+waiting+believing, Good luck to your money. Dealing with these people has been worse than horrible experience. I will try to get phone from other stores

    • Well Dealman's got his phone. Its fair enough that they go by a first come, first serve basis. Anyhow MSY has them for $399 and in stock

      • Yes, Dealman is the only one claiming to receive the phone. Out of nearly 200 orders, dealman is the only one claiming to got the phone. That makes it super doubtful. Secondly, if it is first come first serve, nearly a month and a half, and one person has received, good luck with your order.

        They are out of stock… I will ask for my refund tomorrow ( if they answer my calls ) and buy a Moto G 2nd gen. I'm so regretted about buy this z2 ;(

  • I called late yesterday afternoon, I got a bit of a huff and "You've called us a few times haven't you?" attitude; I could not get a commitment from her that all of the orders would actually get filled (possibly because I am near the end of the 'queue')…. hope is fading.

  • I asked for my refund today. Tired of waiting… 2 weeks ago I called them and they told me it would take 2 weeks to send my phone. Now that I called again, they said the same thing, 2 weeks… Asked how many phones they already sent and she said less than 50 (I guess that they only sent one, to Dealman)

          I called them up yesterday, a guy answered the phone and said he'll give me a refund, then hung up right after, pretty unprofessional.

          Nothing yet, I'll let you know. Hopefully it should come through by the beginning of next week.

          In the meanwhile I've ordered an Asus Zenfone 2 :)

    Looks like they're leaking 10/week or something ridiculous to sort out their cash flow problems.
    Probably a good idea to get a refund before they declare bankruptcy.

  • Thought I would call today as it's now 4 weeks. Lady answered the phone very helpful, but the same story…

    I am in the final 10 of the queue (yay!), they have shipped about 50 so far and have only been getting about 10 a week, but cannot say how many they will get each week from here. So could still be 3-4 weeks. No problem with cancelling if I want to. Have to say, the story sounded quite genuine and not a runaround.

    I asked why it is so slow, and if it was because they are refurbished. She said no, they are new. She thought they were coming so slow because of the low price and that stock was being allocated elsewhere maybe because they are paying more. I wonder if there was initially an error as it is a really low price.

    Will stick with it for now, and hope that more cancel and I jump up a bit!

      I cancelled last Thursday morning & got the money to my bank account on Wednesday.

  • Pay another $40 and you get yourself local stock GST-included Purple colour Xperia Z2 . Why bother waiting?
    Also remember that you can also wait until Z4 came out and wait a bit more , Z2 price will come down even more. Could be lower than this price

      • There's loads of variety with the Zenfone 2. Taiwan, Hong kong versions (different radios), 2GB 16GB (720p), 2GB 32GB, 4GB 32GB, 4GB 64GB, etc…

        I got the Taiwan 2GB/32GB ZE551ML, which is $339 right now.

    Decided I've had enough, I called and was told that they got 10 last week- I got a refund.

    Hi Guys lets all of us lodge a complain to ACCC and NAB Bank against non- receipt of Goods. Seems they are playing with customers and our money. Now they claim they refund money already.But no money in Bank after week. This is SCAM.. let all guys reply ..I'm going to lodge a complain to police if I not get my money back by Wednesday!!!

      Never ever buying from this store again. I can't believe how terrible the customer service is. I'd say even MSY is better than these clowns.

      I'm waiting 1-2 days more before filing complaints.

      If there are any other people who have asked for refunds, keep us informed if you do/don't get a refund.

    I've also finally decided to cancel my order. No communication or anything from them all this time. Unacceptable. This is my first and last time doing business with them.

    The best thing will be to to go their so called office together and demand money. I will arrange media if you can come together. I don't live too far from their office. And if you are still waiting for Phone, Please take your tablet on time. I told everyone that the company needed cash flow, so they tried this old trick and we all fell in this trap.

    If we all can join together in their office, believe me, our money will be back in minutes

  • I got a refund onto my credit card last week for something else, it took 2 days for the transaction to show however my credit card was actually present (I didn't check for funds, just the transaction on Internet Banking).
    3 days is probably acceptable (overnight processing) but anything more than that is them taking the piss even more then they already have.

      IF they say they have shipped to 50 people where are teh other people who should have received the phones, THe problem is once I got the phone I unsubscribed the notifications so didn't come back to the thread until now.

      Either way I received the phone, sorry for others that are being stuffed around.

        Secondly, we dont unsubscribe after receiving the goods. Not the first thing we ordered through ozbargain. We always follow.

          Sorry that others didn't get the phone. The company's communication could have definitely been better, I don't think they set out to Scam or cheat people, They tried their best and the wholesaler didn't deliver. They should have been better with their communication and as it appears prompter with their refunds. I too waited a week or two from memory.

    • I called today, they only put through my refund yesterday (even though I cancelled the order on Monday); I should receive it by Monday at the latest. I'll wait until Tuesday and if it is not in my account I'll lodge a dispute with the bank for non-receipt of goods.

      I honestly think these poor people were shafted by Sony (I know I have been a couple of times) but their lack of communication is unforgivable.

But itestate made a deposit already on the orders and they expect to get the order or whatever that's left in the queue…Frankly it was poor form for them to do this when they cant get 100% guarantee as too when they are going to get them in. What had been advertised had been blatantly misleading!! lol

    Like others have stated, it's not necessarily a scam, but the terrible communication has put me off this company forever.

    • Im still waiting for my refund and Im getting worried… Asked last Tuesday, then this Tuesday I call them and they said that they had an error and would refund me this week… Now I can`t see my order number at the website anymore..

      • I definitely think we're being taken for a ride. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for my refund as well.

        The latest I was told is that it was processed last Friday, however 1 week later there is still nothing in my account. I requested evidence of the refund being processed and was told that it would be emailed to me within 5 mins. 2 days later still nothing…

  • I got funniest of reply when i asked where is my money after 2 weeks. Listen to their reply..

    Never heard such a idiotic reply ever. It has been three weeks and nothing is in my account other than sweet replies and promises to send me an email every time when i call and if they pick up the phone.

    I am sure they had cash flow problem and used our money and now refunding as soon as they are getting money from somewhere.

      Mate how could they have known that someone would put it on ozbargain. It's all a big conspiracy with many different theories. They would have put it on their website expecting 10 or 20 people to buy it but woke up the next day with a few hundred orders

        But if they rule a business, they should be at least professionals… This bullshit answers that I really hate. If they just had 20, they could at least sent an email explaining the situation and suggesting the refund or something like that.

    Under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses must not accept payment for products or services if:
    * they do not intend to supply them
    * they intend to supply materially different products or services
    * they know, or should have known, they would not be able to supply the products or services within the timeframe indicated or if no timeframe was provided, within a reasonable time.

    Bottom one makes what they're doing against Australian Consumer Law, amongst other laws..

    Selling them that cheap they should've expected AT LEAST ~100 sales. Lets say they had <10 in stock (seems like the case), and did receive the 50/week they claim.. That's still a minimum of 2 weeks before all the phones are even sent out, which is far from a reasonable timeframe considering they were marked in stock.

  • Cancelled 1 week ago and asked to have my money refunded. Still no money in back account and they aren't picking up. Can we ban these guys from ozbargain or something? 6 weeks have passed and only one person has received their phone and they aren't refunding our money.

    • I'm in a similar situation, I asked for my refund last Monday. If I do not have my returned funds by tomorrow morning I will go to my bank and lodge a 'non-receipt of goods'. I'm pretty sure that anyone who paid by credit card can do this.

        • No, but contact your bank and see if there is anything that you can do.

    Just called them again because my refund has still not hit my account (after 6 business days).
    She acted surprised and asked to put me on hold. After 15 minutes on hold I hung up and called my bank and lodged a 'non receipt of goods' claim.

    • I called them (one more time) to tell them that I had raised a dispute about the transaction on my credit card; someone different answered (a man) and told me that there was no record of me ever asking for a refund, and he arranged my refund for me straight away.
      I highly recommend to everyone to lodge a non-receipt of goods with their bank.

      • I'm going to my bank tomorrow to see what I can do. After 2 weeks waiting for the refund, and they saying that was only 1 week, 19/05, I called them again yesterday and the woman said to me that the money would be on my account today at afternoon… I'm tired of waiting, sent an email saying that I'm going to take legal measures and now lets see what happens…

        • If you paid by Credit Card just raise a dispute, takes 10 minutes. I called my bank and lodged one then went onto internet banking and submitted the details.

    • I paid with my debit card instead of credit. Can i still lodge that complaint?

      I wish they had paypal and I had used that, sigh…

      • If it is a Debit Visa I think you can, call your bank and ask.

    I think that might have been a fake. That was last Thursday/Friday, and there's still no money in my bank account today. I'll wait another day, then contact my bank, not sure if that will work though.

      Within 55 days, you can always put a dispute. Nothing after 55 days . SO i think these people are trying to buy time. Once 55 days are over, you cant do anything.Ring your bank and put a dispute for that money

  • Rang them this morning, they didn't get anything last week.They said if they are not getting all the rest phones from their supplier by 15th of June, they will cancel the orders and refund the money to who don't get the phone.

    • 15th of june is just over the 55 day dispute period mentioned above, be careful.

      I'm not sure on the accuracy of that 55 day period, though if it is true, the 15th will be just over 55 days.

    Filed a dispute claim directly with my bank, money goes straight back into my account with in 2-3 business days.
    Apparently IT Estate now will have up to 45 days to counter claim the dispute, though will have to provide evidence that the goods have been sent out AND proof I've received them, something they'll fail to do considering I don't even think they intended to ever send these out in the first place.

    Don't bother trying to deal with IT Estate, they'll just lead you on as long as they can. Ring up your bank directly and dispute the charges through them.

  • I was holding out in hope that this would be fulfilled, as I already have a working phone. However it's become too ridiculous and I have just requested a refund. So annoying as I have ordered my SD card, screen protector, etc…

      The only reason they have Ín Stock'because too many people are asking for refund at the same time plus banks will be tough when refund is processed. So they are looking for some new fishes to catch. When they will get money from new fishes (like us), they will refund the money for some of us. And story plus this page will keep going. I hope there are some stiff laws to catch these buggers and keep them behind bars. Too much of customer abuse and we still are helpless

      Any other country will put harsh penalties for these games played by IT Estate

        It's not that easy mate… Many of us have been trying for weeks to get a refund. I'd suggest you contact Itestate by email and phone, document all you can, and contact your bank sometime next week. Don't delay too much or it might be too late.

  • Hello - I'm a long time lurker and bargain hunter.

    Signed up to voice my extreme disappointment in dealing with ITEstate. Have experienced all the same issues detailed by other customers here. Placed an order mid-April, my order never graduated past 'On order'. I emailed them half a dozen times, only receiving two responses, one of which was a poor excuse as to why they were behind on stock, and another saying my email must have gotten lost in junk mail.

    I cancelled the order about two weeks ago, and assumed I would have been wired a refund. Checked my account today, and I had not. Placed an email request to ITEstate requesting a refund, but as I no longer receive auto-reply receipts for emails, figured I wouldn't get a response. Re-visited the thread here and decided to place a non-receipt of goods with my bank, who were very helpful and co-operative.

    Just a terrible experience all round.
