@tf2manu994: yeah they're listed as two distinct products. The Stan code won't work with a regular Chromecast added to your cart, only with the 'Stan Chromecast' which only has the delivery option.

Buy Plex on iOS/Android and use it to stream media from your PC to Chromecast. Also get Crunchyroll app if you like anime (and craploads of it) for free
If your TV has HDMI-CEC, Chromecast fairly recently updated to allow you to control the Chromecast with your TV's remote, for example you can play and pause Youtube, and also the exit button on my remote bring the Chromecast back to the main screen (backdrop).
Very handy for me, as my S5 has issues staying connected to the Chromecast, and will drop connection after a few minutes and stop letting me control the Chromecast.

Is this useful for netflix and the like?
I read that they are slow for non youtube video.
I've had zero problems with Netflix, Stan & Youtube using Chromecast. All in HD with zero stuttering on my crappy 8Mbps
Yup, best money we've ever spent. No lag on Youtube or Netflix. Twitch + Chromecast = win
I do not have many problems with it. I used Stan, Netflix US, Youtube, Plex, Twitch, iView and ESF Chrome Player. To be honest at least on youtube the video look so much better than on standard TV. What I did notice was some interruptions (just 3 pauses 1 of them up to 30 seconds) on Plex, not sure why TBH.
Anyway, I am getting rid of all my other players… this one better then all of them.

Only app I have problems with is iview which I guess is an app issue as works fine on ps3 and laptop
iView is still in beta for Chromecast for both iOS & Android

Did you not notice the 'expired' tag? As discussed above, you cannot get the Stan deal Click & Collect anymore.

If you sign up to stan (free) you can get one for $39 delivered, I bought one few days ago but click and collect wasn't available yet the coupon took off $18 and was forced to pay delivery so if someone wants they can try see if they can click and collect with stan coupon for $31
