  • This sounds a bit like an ad? lol

Anyway - nothing against this machine I know people that have and use them, AND used it myself but just be aware the pods are a bit proprietary and harder to get than standard pods.

Just copy and pasted the description on the eBay Page

    • correction: compatible pods are harder to get, but original pods are very easy to get (and more expensive comparing to nespresso system)in most supermarkets and big stores! It might be a good price for now but last September HN had it for $150-$100 cashback promotion=$50, so I got one back then for wife's work ;)
P.S. also, FYI seller's feedback is 13, same deal from same seller with same price(but limited quantity) appears on Ebay without been a group buy, so to me this post looks like an ad!

Fair call. I was just going by the fact I try to buy some pods in Woolies and flavours are severely limited. I don't drink coffee, but even if I did the selection is very sparse, there's no hot chocolate on the shelf, and they are hideously expensive. I only buy for them when my kids are at dance, there's a machine there and in the hour I sit waiting a drink is nice so not at all experienced buying the pods just going by what I saw at Woolies. The range of the more common pods is huge and cheap in comparison.

        • ATM woolies has 2 boxes for $13 special, so you get 32 espresso pods(or 16 chocolate, cappuccino etc) which is much better than the regular price.

I have tried the coffee from Dulce Gusto capsules, I would not recommend it. The coffee machine is great, not the coffee.

I have now an Aldi coffee machine at home and work, and the coffee tastes great.

    • +1 for some reason this is actually a step down from Nespresso coffee, tastes worse for some reason

Thought about negging this deal when you can get a Lavazza Modo machine from officeworks with 156 coffee pods for the same price.

    • I tried finding that deal but I think it may not be available anymore?

…and then you would have your vote revoked by the Mods as "invalid negative reason" :)

      • -2

Why would that be? Lavazza is same or comparable quality and comes with a large amount of pods which this 'deal' doesn't.

        • +1

I'm not saying Lavazza is not better but you are now comparing apples with oranges.
