Well when you think about it, it is crashing less.
There are fewer good items…thus noone wants them…thus no crashing! I mean cmon how many times have the slinger pens been sold (and still there is stock!)10pm usually equals big ticket items on crash.
You just have to play it smart, be quick on the computer and enter details.I'm quite happy about today's 'low profile' sale. When you advertise Wiis and PS3's for low low prices offcourse half of Australia is going to jump onboard and crash the servers! COTD, I think not hyping it up worked much better today (the page actually loaded for me during the busy times).
FWIW, I just scored tonight's DSi the moment I saw it upload, as well as the chupa chups - no slowdown and using Optus cable broadband (no bots or any other 'cheats' to refresh the page). Very happy, though you do have to time yourself and prepare to be disappointed!
$199 plus shipping for DSi is OK, you can actually get it for cheaper price from Ebay.
