It would be sweet if they could a add dvd drive, 2gb of ram and a 2 year warranty at that price (or maybe $50 over). But I think thats asking for too much… there's an Asus one that has an integrated dvd drive on it, but its a little expensive, and I think that breaks the definition of a netbook.

      • Erm, those look like the generic ones I was referring to. A brief glance shows: no LED screen and they're thicker and heavier etc. This s101h has the exterior polish and appearance, but I guess it's up to your tastes and if you think this is more of a bargain than those…

        • Well, I couldn't care less about LED screens ( And even this LED screen was rated poorly - http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/notebooks/asus/eee_pc_s… ) and if its 300-400 grams lighter, I just want it to work and be reliable. If you consider premium something that doesn't improve performance (maybe just a bit of battery power), that's up to you. Its not like its made up of titanium and magnesium like proper premium business Lenovo laptops. What its made from and its size/weight are the only difference in specs. Some of these netbooks are cheaper than this one and have the N280 instead of the n270.

    • Lol when I first read your post I thought you were talking about this particular model. Let me know when you do ever find it less than $400…

    lies

    • 6 months ago it was expect to pay close to $1000… now… yea not really… i think i will throw a parody party when A$1=US$1!! Yes I am sad but I am an economics uni student who is boring… lol anyways i am basically saying i agree electronics will be getting cheaper in the next 6 months.

      • Electronics always go cheaper in the next 6 months, best buying it when you need it :)
