normally sell them for $489 + shipping
MSY is $478, Netplus in Perth is OOS but sell for $539, PLE is $499…
So, good deal + free ship.
Wish I wasn't saving up for a mini-itx board/cpu/ram!
Surely you'll need an SSD for that too :P
I have a Samsung 840 Pro 256GB + 600GB WD Raptor for my data- all set on that front…
Now, trying to decide best of the rest!
Cheers
Replace the noisy Raptor (and the 256GB Pro) with a single 1TB SSD. You know you want to. ;)
its a pretty good deal lowest price anywhere even when compared with amazon
Why these so cheap , do they have a use-by date?
before you upgrade to M.2
in 6mths you will be kicking yourself that you spent so much.
besides, the 850 has been out for nearly a year.
850 evo Pro came out mid-year, regular 850 evo's have only just started hitting shelves in the past month.
Every 6 months you'll be doing the same, for the rest of your life.
Store rep - do you have any deals for the 250gb version?
not at the moment but will try :)
Yes, I am also interested in 256GB one.
1 TB looks too much for me at the moment.
1 TB looks too much for me at the moment.
that's better than getting 256GB and not having enough a few months down the track…
@jv: Amen to that!
You can never have too much storage. Seriously :|
Would likewise be interested in a 512GB if you manage to secure stock in other sizes.
will be getting 512 pro versions soon if enough interest
@massa_tech: waiting for good deal on 512 as well
@massa_tech: yes. put me on your god-damn mailing list. very interested.
840 pro or 850 pro?
If your pricing on this deal is anything to go buy, I'm tipping you'd have plenty of interest in the 850 evo (pro and standard) if you could source stock at this early stage.
@PiperTard: please check weekly special, I can not post 512gb deal on oz bargains till 24 hours :)

Wow! 850 evo Pro for $369 delivered.
Amazing drive. Great deal. Now to see how good your supply chain and delivery times are. I'm off to place an order. Cheers…
@PiperTard:
Can't process purchase of 512GB pro on your website.
Using iPad, signed up as member, but stuck in an endless loop between confirming billing address, delivery address and free shipping. Every time I select free shipping it loops back around to asking to confirm billing and delivery addresses. Any ideas, rep?
Thanks
@PiperTard: sorry try now??
Still looping, can't process.
Whilst I hope you don't sell out until you process mine, have you considered editing this existing deal to mention the 850 pro in the title and initial post? I'm sure the mods would be happy for you to add the 2nd deal to your original post, not least of which since it seems you're currently the only one selling the model in Aus, and the pricing looks sharp…
@PiperTard: I just ordered the 850 Pro without issues on a PC, try that instead of the ipad ?
Actually, the reason I'm in the market for a new SSD is that my PC is currently stuck in an infinite boot loop and can't be accessed.
How's that for irony…
Out of interest, did you check out as a guest, or sign up for a membership? I'd like to try the former, but can't find anywhere to logout of my account.
@PiperTard: I signed up for an account. Try a different browser on the ipad ?
@PiperTard: site has been updated, sorry about the inconvenience!
@PiperTard: the site has been updated, sorry about the inconvenience!
Thanks Pesty, but no luck with another iPad browser either.
But based on your successful purchase, I was motivated to dust off the old MacBook Air and managed to process an order that way. Now for the waiting game… Fingers crossed that the order status of "awaiting fulfilment" is not a suggestion that the rep doesn't yet have stock. Given my immediate need for the drive, I was impressed by the included free express post. Time shall tell…
@PiperTard: Just got the drive today, so hopefully you'll get it soon too.
Nice work - glad to hear it.
I'm in metro Sydney, but no sign of it yet, and there's no tracking number in the allocated space on the "check my order" section so it's a case of wait and see…
Wonder where he's sourced them from? No-one else in the country appears to be selling them at present, and no-one's selling the 840 at anywhere near his price. I just hope it's not too good to be true, Massa!
@PiperTard: I'm in Sydney too. Package looked legit, box, CD driver, stickers. Just cloned my boot drive across and running fine on the new 850 Pro. No invoice though, might ask for tax purposes. No idea where he's getting the drives, as long as its not off the back of a samsung truck…
Interested in a price on an MSATA 250gb SSD if you have any?
Also interested in msata drive.
Also interested in msata drive. 1TB msata please Rep!
Should have been $420 considering the blazing performance of this drive.
I'll see myself out…
I've got one of these in my Metabox laptop. Great drive.
FUUUUUUUUU i just put an order for one the other day and spent 480
you snooze, you win.
For people getting this, remember to run the Performance Restoration Software a.s.a.p.
http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisit…
That software will re-prep the drive to address the read performance issue. It is better to do it early as any existing data will need to be moved to a different block (so those blocks can be re-prepped).
Great price! i got this price 8 months ago…
Best 1tb ssd you can get!!! rebooted my macbook pro 2011 !! Ram is no use for upgrade, this SSD is the……best!!
How much was it 8 months ago?
around 429. It was the ebay 20% offer. only 5 were offerred.
850 Evo's released in Australia in the past week. Still, incredible value for what it is.
Might just get one…
Is it a grey import?
I noticed mwave have the 500gb 850 evo for 320. I think I'm going go down that path as it's supposedly comparable to the pro 850.
But of ur after 1gb, u cannot go past the this deal
Agreed. As good as this deal is, I'm leaning towards a 512GB 850 evo as well. I've got some 4 x 4TB WD Reds looking after my storage needs, so speed and data security are the priorities for my OS boot drive. The 512GB 850 evo looks to be the sweet spot for size and pricing, so I'd be interested if Massa Tech are planning on stocking them off the back of this great deal…
Update - ordered the 850 evo pro from Massa. At only $40 more than the cheapest places are selling the regular 850's before postage, the (imperceptible?) performance premium and ten year warranty for the pro is a clincher for my main boot drive.
Looking for a 256/512gb for now if it's possible… thanks REP.
please check weekly special, I can not post 512gb deal on oz bargains till 24 hours :)
I don't need an SSD… I want that shiny LG G3 32GB…. I can resist….

250gb 840 please
Thank you! I look forward to purchasing it!
250gb msata pls!
great deal!
Hey rep, thanks for posting the 850 deal. But any deal on an 840 500gb model? Looking for something a bit cheaper :)
Rep, I'll order an 512gb 840 or 850 pro if available.
Anybody bought rom this supplier before? I have never heard it before. Does it accept PayPal?
So tempted to put into a PlayStation 4
so this is a little concerning - I've tried to contact the store via their number on their 'contact us' - 0420 641 520 which is also the contact number they have advertised on their FB page - https://www.facebook.com/MASSA.tech/info?tab=page_info - nobody picks up and after a while I get a call back from this number by a random individual who claims to have no relation to the Massa Technology whatsoever.
Can the store rep weigh in please.
Sorry i have lost that old number, please call the 222 number, i must update the number on facebook, if the old number is anywhere else please let me know, sorry
Is this the same model as MZ-7TE1T0BW ?
Out of stock. Please mark it as such.
Ah well.
How much do you normally sell these for ?
