Kellogg's 2 for 1 Zoo Entry @ Zoos Australia Wide

450

This is my first post and I thought this is a pretty nice deal for families or friends to go out and see some friends of nature =)

It's available in quite a number of zoos:

  • TARONGA ZOO
  • TARONGA WESTERN PLAINS ZOO
  • MELBOURNE ZOO
  • WERRIBEE OPEN RANGE ZOO
  • HEALESVILLE SANCTUARY
  • PERTH ZOO
  • ADELAIDE ZOO
  • MONARTO ZOO
  • AUSTRALIA ZOO

IT'S EASY.

  1. Buy a specially marked Kellogg's cereal or snack pack available from participating stores. For the full list of products, view the Terms and Conditions.
  2. Carefully cut out the 'BUY 1 GET 1 FREE ENTRY' coupon.
  3. Grab a friend or family member.
  4. Present it when you buy your ticket to the zoo.
  5. Have an amazing day.

  • there's an "Australia Zoo"? It sounds awesome! Like the University of the United States!

    • +1

      It's Steve Irwin's zoo.

      • he's dead…

        • They're still happy to take your money though…it's not the entry, which is neither cheap nor outrageous, it's that they stitch you up on EVERYTHING once you're in there! ;)

I thought Dubbo (Western Plains) Zoo was better! :)

  • Ah, good timing - Kellogg's cereals are on offer at Woolies this week.

  • Great deal, that's a saving of more than $20! :D Thanks!

  • Nice one.

  • GREAT FIND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Partner, my self, and two of our friends are going to Aus zoo so that will save us some money. and to answer peoples questions its on sale at IGA.

    • The picture at the Kellogg's website doesn't include Nutri-Grain and Just Right though. Wonder if they will have the coupon…

      • Nope, I don't think it includes Nutri Grain and Just Right. If you go to the website (under terms), it lists down the participating cereal/snack which will have the coupon. Basically the 6 products pictured: Sultana Bran, Cornflakes, Coco Pops, Mini Wheats, LCM and K-Time. Most if not all are on offer in Woolies this week.

Take a packed lunch guys, and plenty of snacks, and drinks…the prices for all of these are nothing short of highway robbery in Crikey's world! ;)

I was gonna buy a plastic sipper cup (the one with Crikey on top) as a souveneir for the GF, IIRC it was something like $24 empty, add another three bucks or so for some soft drink in it! The only time I'll pay that price for a bit of coke is off Robert Downey Jnr! ;)

Other than that it's ok, some cool animals & stuff there but very "Disney/Americanized" (apologies to Americans - but you'll know what I mean!)

      • At least at Oz Zoo you still can take a picnic et cetera…
At the Gold Coast theme parks you can no longer take-your-own,, you are compelled to pay through the nose for their junk food & drinks!!!
That can easily double the cost of a visit. :(
Like StewDude, I also give my vote to Western Plains / Dubbo (though I haven't been to the Vic, SA, WA zoos). You need to allow for 2 full days (or a 2nd "return" day if they still have that offer) to get the most of Western Plains, and even then you won't see absolutely everything. Also, my tip would be to use the bicycle hire service (or take your own); walking uses up a lot of your time and driving/parking/walking, driving/parking/walking is a real pain + you miss stuff along the way.
