In Canberra the Coles 10cpl "discount" (rofl) is already priced into the Coles-Shell gouge at the pump, currently around 20c above what it should be. Interesting concept - get fined $11M for illegally gouging suppliers, pay for it by legally gounging consumers. Ah, modern Australia, a place of paradoxes and parasites.
The $49 remote/light ceiling fan is great.
Very easy to install as it just replaces an existing ceiling light. For some people that could save an electrician call-out, so big bargain.
(IF you know what you are doing. isolate the circuit first, yadda yadda )
Probably want to make sure the ceiling has a solid mounting point. ie backing support, not just plaster
That would be covered by the broader advice of "do not do this of you cannot read and follow the simple instructions enclosed".

does anyone know what the normal bunnings / servo swap and go price is? has been a while since i've done a refill and i've got an empty bottle sitting at home.

My local Ray's Outdoors have it for $19, if they're closer than Masters.
Anyone know whether Bunnings will do a Price Beat Guarantee on this? Masters is too far away.
Bunnings have also reduced theirs to $17.90.

I thought the gas cylinders come in 9kg size? Didn't know you can get 8.5kg
They were/are traditionally known as 9kg but someone probably complained about half a kilo of gas missing.

If you have them filled at bcf for example you get the full 9kg, The swap system they short fill them.

Does masters take any return bottle, I heard you can swap any brand of bottle in date or out of date at coles express.
Nah, they have been really picky with me. Bunnings swapped my 10yr old empty gas bottle I found in the shed for $17.90 this morning and I got a brand newbie. I asked if it was okay and they said people do it all the time.

If you're in Bankstown NSW I think I saw it for $9.99 at the servo Canterbury Rd opposite the new Jaycar Electronics/near Christies Homemaker center. Can't remember for sure but I think it is definitely near the $10 mark.
