Ukraine didn't attack Russia…it's the other way around. Stop spreading CCP and Russian propaganda.

          • -1

@dealhunter52: What would you do if you are swamped by enemies from all directions?

            • +3

@ninohax: Except they are not. Most European militaries are small and weak (even still now, shockingly) because they just dont invest much in it. Besides, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, Belarus, even the Arctic and so forth…. Not Russian enemies. Conquest is conquest, there is no sugar coating Russia's invading Ukraine and systemically trying to wipe out their entire civilization, culture and history (intentionally targeting civilians on a huge scale, kidnapping thousands of children, widespread systemic torture as released in recent UN report), it goes on and on. It is far worse than our tabloid style media outlets here bother to report on.

              • +2

                @Xizor: Exactly…100% agree.

Russia shot itself in the foot with their invasion of Ukraine by driving neutral countries like Sweden and Finland to Nato. Now that Europe's holiday from history is over, every country in the region is increasing their defense budget, citing unprovoked Russian aggression.

            • +2

@ninohax: What's your point? Do you know Russia has most nuclear weapons in the world and hasn't been invaded since WW2?

Fact is Russia is an imperialist country and have always been at war with its neighbors throughout their 1000 year history. Even in last 20 years they have stolen land of Georgia (Abkhazia and South Ossetia - 2008) and Ukraine (Crimea - 2014, Donbas - 2014 and Zaporizhia, Kherson - 2022). Go read their history.

@dealhunter52: Why was Australia concern when China enter pacific countries? Its the same reason why Russia attach Uraine. USA promissed Nato will not grow after Germany entered Nato and yet it kept on expanding it, bringing Nato and USA waponds on Russia's door steps.

            • +3

@AshFon: So you're saying if Australia attacked any of the Pacific neighbors unprovoked because of Chinese concern, it will be justified? That's very stupid analogy or example.

Australia did not launched armed attack on Solomon Islands for choosing China over Australia. Civilized countries don't do that.

              • @dealhunter52: Australia has attack Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, Afghanistan and the list goes on.. Offcourse so called civilised countries has got justification for kiiling people.

                • +1

                  @AshFon: Hey….look over there!

Nice deflection tactics. So out of these countries you mentioned, which one did Australia annex? Hope you know the difference.

You favorite dictatorship Russia has also been involved in Korea war, Vietnam war, Occupation of Afghanistan in 1980s, Occupation of eastern Europe (Hungary, Czechoslovakia), Moldova (still occupying Transnistria), Occupation of Georgia (North Ossetia & Abkhazia 2008), Ukraine (2014 & 2022) and numerous other conflicts including helping Assad kill civilians in Syria. Their proxy Wagner (now called African Corps) is directly involved in 7 military coups in Sub-Saharan Africa (Gabon, Niger, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Guinea, Chad and Mali) since 2020.

                  • @dealhunter52: @dealhunter52 I’m not saying Russia and China are innocent, but this conflict is part of a larger power game. The US has long sought to maintain global dominance, and Russia and China are pushing back against it. Countries like Australia often follow US directives, while the US works to protect its military and economic power, including the dominance of the US dollar. NATO's expansion near Russia’s borders and the presence of US nuclear missiles in Europe have heightened tensions. Russia felt it had no option but to act militarily against Ukraine to counter what it perceived as an existential threat to its security and influence.

                    • @AshFon: So… the way to push back is to openly attack a country that has chosen to take a path that will not strengthen the Russian interest.
I don't think many of us are doubting the interests here. Russia, US and China all are no saints in their pursuit for influence. The actual bigger problem is the method chosen.
It probably is the same reason why a lot of people who have no beef in the Israeli/Palestinian long term conflict are shifting towards Palestinian support. They see the unjustified level of violence from the Israeli side.
Same reason no one is celebrating US engagement in Vietnam. Not only have they effectively lost, they have been brutal along the way.
Pointing to someone elses horrible behaviour is not a way to excuse mine.

  • After COVID, we learned one thing: first-world countries love their toilets. TP became more valuable than gold, and bidets turned into a status symbol. Forget survival skills—just stock up on 2-ply, and you’re set for the apocalypse!

Does the glow even last over 1 hour? By the time you wake up in the middle of the night, it won't be glowing anymore. What's the point of it?

    • When it's pitch black, at night, there will still be enough glow to be visible.

Just like if your watch has luminescent markers, you can still see it throughout the night.

      • the glow runs out, it does not last forever.

  • Nice find! Got 1 each, guests deserve some glow too ;-)

  • OOS

  • Got an email back saying OOS and will refund.

  • Having a try with OnePass delivery for 2x the blue but sounds like likely will get a refund.

I got two at Bellambi C&C. Just picked em up now.

  • +3

I got one for mine a couple of years ago. The glow does last quite a while, even though dim after a few hours, enough for sleepy eyes to see without turning a light on. Soft closing, fairly solid, not flimsy. Recommend.

    • +1

Great to hear. I really can't wait up drop a deuce with this.

  • ahah bought one for click and collect this afternoon, I'll swap it over as I think it'll be funny when one of the family members first notices it glows in the dark :)

  • +1

Looks like C&C inventory deductions are correct, C&C orders put through do reduce the count online based on physical inventory (unsure of the delay though, when I ordered there was plenty of stock as indicated by the green highlight).

Just got my confirmation after the store reported OOS 30 mins before assumedly due to the massive amount of C&C orders, was expecting it to be cancelled tbh. cheers OP

  • +1

Got 2 ready for collection, thanks OP 👍

  • Got notification that order is packed and ready to go :-)

  • +1

Thanks OP, Ordered 1 for delivery

  • Usually, night-glowing products need to stay under UV light (sunlight or artificial light) to some extent to glow. After a few hours, it does not glow. Is this work the same?

  • It's been saying no longer available since 10am for me. How are people still ordering?
