    • they are always free every year during this time. noosa is great for that ('cos parking is really bad)

somewhere around the $3-5 mark (taken the 626 as a guide here)
a local probably has more information

think this is on every year, can remember it being in 2012 (probably to keep a LOT of traffic off the roads over new years)

edit: apologies, pressed the wrong button and accidentally downvoted this.. damn tired eyes :(
revoked the neg and can't upvote

    • Single adult @ $4.80 I think.
Avoid trying to find a carpark at Hasting street peak holiday's - priceless :)
And yes it is every year… They also do it at Easter time.

      • hastings street is crazy for parking but i can aways seem to find one, sometimes it has to be down near where woods caravan park was.
or we just go home and try a few hours later.

never used the bus but prob should.

    • $52…

A visiting Melbourne family felt the sting this week, after it cost them $52 for a return trip from Maroochydore to Noosa on Tuesday.

Public transport prices in Qld are the most expensive in australia, that's why it's cheaper to drive!

Thank you. This will be very useful when I fly up there on Sat.

  • dang, needed this for the gold coast…

  • Plenty of GC beachside metered parking - so no need for free buses at the expense of the transport levy (us poor ratepayers)
Perhaps they could use the levy to build bus shelters - (imagine making your customers stand in the rain or heat for your service. Only eagle boys pizzas do that, making you stand at the counter OUTSIDE to place an order)

Bishop car park is nearly always empty and free new years eve (I think)
No buses in town now anyway, only the tram - which was free for GC600

Last year, the whole sunshine coast translink buses were for free, but this year, only noosa, so sad!
