what sort of range can you expect with this?
finally figured out how to program this machine. turns out I used chirp to upload a wrong image and my radio would not receive unless MONI was pressed down. Had to recover using what's at the bottom of this link http://forums.radioreference.com/budget-entry-level-transcei…
