  if you missed out don't feel too bad, years ago i bought a gen 1 Russian tube and power supply kit, worked ok, it does 'turn night into day' especially with active IR illumination but gen 1 tubes produce really grainy images

  good deal.

  on a side note aldi had similar night vision scopes at one stage. all bought out by the victorian police when it went on sale. no joke.
  i drove to about 5 shops across victoria and got the same story. lucky a mate worked at one and picked up a display model for me.

      its actually not bad but its the first I've used so who am i to know better.
      old man takes it for night fishing these days.
