  And more bendy than ever.

  But seriously, its only a saving of 18/38 bucks, and apparently "freight" insurance is extra, and you will have to deal with Kogan. Just head down to your local Apple store, and buy one. If it bends, you can easily return for a replacement.

      More like a Ozbargain fan.

      Looking in front of me. The laptop, the monitor, speaker, the two (one WP, one Android) phones, the galaxy tab, and even the ipad (OW Price match) is due to Ozbargain.

        They were forced to change it, because of Australian consumer law you are meant to have a warranty based on fair use (the more you spend the longer it should last) very confusing but basically regardless of what the company states as their warranty it should last a decent amount of time, a $2000 computer should last at least 3 years if not more. So even if you are out of warranty you can sometimes still be covered.

        No, there is still a one year warranty. There is also a Consumer Guarantee of at least two years.

        @Annoying Source: I think the original reasoning was that a phone's warranty should not be shorter than the contract it is part of. It's what they told me once in a Vodafone store.

        Correct. Virgin gladly pointed that out to me when my phone passed 1 year and the law came into place but they did not have to do anything to fix due to the contract starting before the law was put into place.

      Is it 2 yrs? I thought all this time it's just 1 year. Just checked my iphone 5's serial, It's been more than a year since I bought it, it says it's expired.

        Yes their systems set up on the basis of 1 yr Apple warranty. Not 2 year consumer guarantee. However If you go to a Apple store they will replace it without a problem if less than 2 years. Probably they dont want to set a precedent for other countries with 1 year warranties (and this way they avoid servicing uninformed customers).

      Well to be picky $AU767 from Canada Apple Store and there are mail redirection services to Australia for $10. I don't think something is a bargain if a purchase comes with strings just to save 2.5%. You'll prob spend more money later in fuel and postage services to get it back to Kogan if a repair is needed.

  Damn, I've bended an iPhone 6 Plus already,still waiting for my new replacement for about 3 weeks from Apple. The next gen must be called iPhone iFlex.
