How the hell does this company make any money giving away free rides all the time?
I think (or have heard) they're undercutting themselves to establish market domination.. then when they increase prices they've already got an established user base.
Venture capital funding. So they're burning investors' cash at the moment. Surprisingly "dotcom boom" strategy. They are part-owned by google though.
Uberx is illegal in victoria for drivers right?
Hence the fines?
UBERX is excellent. Cannot recommend UBER enough.
