  OK, so it turns out that these aren't technically free. They scan at $0.01 each. Very thorough research has revealed that they scan at $0.01 each regardless of whether or not any Philadelphia products are included in the same transaction, and that a transaction made up of only these glasses will complete and accept payment in the usual way.. You know what to do, OzBargainers!

    No one said they were 'technically free', in fact the terms were pretty clear. I reckon you're drawing a pretty long bow in thinking that it's morally ok to scan something up for one cent and walk out with it, when you know that you were supposed to buy $8 worth of a certain product before doing so. I mean, let's 'keep it real' here… scanning up a promotianal extra yourself without actually buying the product that entitles you to it is essentially just theft, isn't it?

      Precisely, unless you missed the sign and just wanted to buy the glasses. Then you get a pleasant surprise when they scan for $0.01 instead of $14.95.

      They aren't worth anything like $14.95. They are not wine glasses. They are really thin at the top and break easily.

  some stores have them behind the counter where u get recharges or cigs. Went to Ashfield store and they didn't know where it was until I saw it on the way out behind the counter.

  I agree GnarlyKnuckles! It is basically theft. All you have to do is buy 2 products and you get the glasses for free! I went into my Coles at South Melbourne and got SIX GLASSES!!! I can't wait to go home and make a cheesecake and eat some Sweet Chilli Philly :)
