I just noticed this, China has knock-off video cards? Their Shanzhai counterfeiting business is getting awfully sophisticated nowadays.

They're selling what seems to be a no-name Nvidia GTX 650Ti for much cheaper than RRP ($85 as opposed to over $120 AUD)
and interestingly the VRAM configuration is 384Bit DDR3 as opposed to 128-Bit GDDR5 (which explains how they keep the price low, as nobody uses DDR3 memory on DX11 GPU's anymore).

And a "1GB" GTS450 that actually has 256MB of VRAM. Nearly fell off my chair when I saw the description. Wouldn't be surprised if they hacked the BIOS of these cards to make them report the wrong make and model in the operating system.

    • not sure how this relates to this post?

It hilarious, just like these "Wireless" "Headphones".

These headphones operate on the FM Radio band. Your "wireless" audio is therefore competing with interference and radio stations also sharing that band

In most applications the result will be very poor, even if these were the best headphones of their kind ( which is unlikely).

Nah, look at the clear/dark-red panel at the front of the transmitter and on the front of each earpiece. Line-of-sight 'infra-red'. Works like a remote control.

dark-red panel at the front of the transmitter and on the front of each earpiece … Line-of-sight 'infra-red

It's just plastic trim. I took one apart.

Love your misguided logic, but these are a fm transmitter in base and crappy fm radio in headset. It even states there is built in fm radio & "Receiver Reception Mode FM, Emission Modulation Mode FM" if you read description above.

For the short time it worked, gave lots of interference & poor sound quality - went in the bin.

How many radio stations operate on 86 fm????!!!! Yea exactly none so your "statement" is invalid

I bought these - very poor sound, lots of interference / unwanted sounds.

  • Anyone actually try these?

    • +3

Yes - crap sound, needed to frequently retune fm radio headset. Microphone is in base, not headset. The description "It´s perfect audio-chat tool, provides infinite enjoyment" is so far from the truth in my experience - I experienced absolutely no enjoyment. AVOID!

how well does it work to listen to the noise and talking around the transmitter when in another room?

        • Now you're not going to spy on / stalk anyone are you?
Did not try that as the unit barely worked & sound was very poor. Unless quality has been drastically improved, I doubt you would understand anything said.

They sell on ebay for $20 or something similar. I got one of these about 4 years ago and i didn't like them a bit. I got some $100 wireless headphones now which i use every day.

I wouldn't buy these although they are cheap. Money down the drain…

  • Tempted because of the price, DX comments sound good but not sure if I would actually use these. Good that they use AAA batteries, not built in.

Don't waste your money on this piece of CRAP wireless headphone. You add a bit more and buy a branded one from your local store.
