Great price. Tempted but staying away. I've bought 2 pairs and both failed with the same issue - the plastic at the hinge cracks within months and and ultimately results in a completely unusable set, or a hack diy job with superglue, baking soda, and zip ties. The earpads don't last either. They peel easily. Might however be worth the $99. shrug

If they are as bad as you claim them to be, why is the price still great? I was tempted to buy a pair or two but after your review, I am not going to waste my money.

      • Pretty good sound, comfy fit, and has ANC and a microphone to boot. If you consider $99 and a year, or two at the most, of use it's a good deal. Would have been an amazing deal had I not had prior experience with them. If it's for a daily commute then it would be a no. Mine saw daily home use and didn't last. Would suggest it's a good deal at $99. Worst case - send them back :D

Side note: Grabbed a pair of Bose QC's for $198 on the deals a few weeks ago. Was looking to get the Soundcore Q45's. They've been as low as $109. Typically hovers around $150, however the Bose deal was good. Soundcore sound and ANC is impressive based on experience with the Liberty Pro 3's.

I don't get this logic, headphones aren't a subscription?? If these are $99 and last a year, you've got to find a good sale on headphones next year.. or you could just get a good sale on something that will last?

The earpads degrade pretty bad on these. Prepare for that peeling feeling.

Thanks. Appreciate the post, particularly you highlighting there is a significant difference between the Live and the Tune models.
I was looking for a reasonable pair of ANC overt ear headphones at about that price.
Purchased as prepared to take the risk on the hinge cracking and the earpad degradation. Finger crossed they are not too tight.
Always a risk buying without testing fot fit, particularly with my lumpy skull, but the discount and 30 day return policy got me over the line.

If you do start seeing cracks on the hinge recommend checking out a YT video for the superglue and baking soda fix :D
It's best done on the inside. I had to use a black flexi-tie on my first pair because it was so badly cracked. It worked fine :D
