Definitely a big bang for the buck as a DAC / Amp

It's still a relatively new product and has received very good comments:

For less than half the price of the O2/ODAC combo and Schiit Modi/Magni Stack, you get similar SQ but more features.

Note that according to the reddit post, the adapter is 110V~240V, but you'd need a plug adapter as it's the American plug.

  No bargain. After exchange rate comes to $127.17 aud. This is an OEM version of the fiio E09K minus the dock + a DAC. You can get this JUST AN AMP from an Aussie vendor (billy mav whos a member here) with an australian warranty and free shipping. Also wont have to wait 2 months for delivery, closer to a week depending where you are.

  edit: Ill retract neg vote (if I knew how) as this is a DAC aswell where as the E09K is an amp only. Id still recomend noisy motel over massdrop, who have any DAC you could want. No im not associated with noisy motel, hes just that good.

    If the E09K is anything like the E09 it should be avoided due to it's high output impedance (and if that monoprice one is the same, it should also be avoided).

    I think the month-long shipping, the US source, US plug, and the seemingly too low price are all flags for me to be careful/avoid (paying peanuts won't buy high-quality components, usually) but if someone is adventurous, it may in fact be good.

    I go to noisy motel, too. Their support is unparalleled. And they're Australian. Not associated, just a customer. :)
