I'll check the battery length, but I think it's around 3-4 hours.I wouldn't recommend changing the battery underwater.
I agree with the rep. I definitely do NOT recommend changing the battery underwater.
I had one of those $3 zoom torches that I used underwater. It ran out of battery but I was at the bottom of the ocean. I proceeded to open it to change the battery.
I should have surfaced to change the battery… as soon as the water rushed in it blew up and sent me flying on a shockwave. I lost all my limbs and am now typing with my nose.3-4 hours seems alright though.

It does look nearly identical and that is a good price.For the extra money you'll get a HMDI output, waterproof to a depth of 8m rather then 3m and 1080p HD resolution rather then 720p.

I got a similar looking Dick Smith one last year but when you put the housing around it you basically get no sound which is a bit pointless for me. Am I going to have the same problem with this one ?
Big difference in claimed spec. 1080p vs 720p. 5MP vs 1.3MP. Waterproof to 8m vs 3m

No so much underwater as on the water. In the surf on a SUP or boogie board you'd like to be able to catch the sound of the ocean. Or even a heavy weather day at the snow you still want to capture the ambient sounds. My Panny tough camera can do an OK job but it's a bit heavy on the helmet and there's no wireless remote option on the older one that I have which the DSE one does have.
I've tried this one before. For the price, it's alright, grainy on 1080 esp at night. I returned it to get a Sony action cam instead. I've got some video still if you want to look.

May I know how long is the battery last during recording? I do not want to change the battery underwater.
