It's unfortunate Online Computer's prices aren't kept up to date on StaticIce. Few weeks ago I went to MSY for an Eee Box because they were the cheapest at $399. Was only because they had no stock that I walked to Capitol Square and found a whole stack of them for $359.
Then again they probably have enough problems with people trying to squeeze into their tiny store without attacting the MSY queuers :)
is it just me or were these $299 a few months ago?
$299 was a linux version from onlinecomputers.
Maybe you read it in USD$ somewhere on the web — I don't remember seeing them at $299.

mediocre deal imo - see post 66 onwards
from memory the xp version was 320, however i had a copy at home.
And a StaticIce search shows them coming in $44 under MSY and $65 under Apus/SSq (not factoring in shipping of between $13/$35).
