what phone did u buy? I wonder if other had the same issue, I did notice the price on ebay is much higher then dse website, except for a few selected items.
I bought an iPhone 5S (one of three sold) … I guess the same email will be sent to people who bought any Apple products, the PS4 or some higher spec Android phones … All the items where the discount made most sense.
Thought about buying the Logitech headphones but this will not happen after this experience. I have enough people not paying for bought ebay items … but now even sellers not wanting to sell when the price is not right.
(I must say I am not a very loyal customer and usually shop where it is the cheapest … but I avoid some stores for years … this will be one of them)
All I can do as a customer is write negative reviews on the web … and that what they will get now. When you do a deal - you stick to it - or don't offer it!
I bought the same phone too in this sale and am very disappointed to have got the email saying the order has been cancelled. Just when I thought I was finally going to get rid of my 5 year old iPhone 3!! I am bemused to have also received an email about a credit for the shipping fee I paid. I wonder how many other people were affected by this error?

There was no 'technical' issue but rather the Ebay person f'ed up. I despise the term 'unfortunately' being used in relation to anything business. What did they do? Receive customer service advice from a ouija board? Shake the magic 8 ball? Maybe it all went like this…

Reply and insist on it. Pretty sure you're covered by Australian Consumer Law as they charged you for something they said they wouldn't.

No tracking showing up for my 60" Samsung. I'm getting the error "unable to find the requested search reference"
I just called the Customer Support Team on 1300 366 644 and after 40mins of talking to them and being on hold while they try and contact the warehouse still no information available. Apparently the warehouse didn't answer the CS persons call so she will try and get in touch with them and call me back with details.

Nothing received yet and as I type this I am on hold waiting for a customer support agent to get back to me.
On hold time to answer was 20 mins, and another 20 mins talking to them and being on hold while they look into it.
They tell me they can't get through to the warehouse to determine the delay and they will call me back by 7pm to update me.
I have left 2 messages via ebay contact seller - neither has been responded to.

As ive said before, its an auto generated tracking number, so it will not go live until it is scanned into the system, which will be tonight sometime.
Everytime I've ordered from DSE it says the tracking number won't update until around 7pm the day it gets picked up.

16/6 - Spent 1hr on phone because of an issue with the billing (but not shipping) address, told it'd dispatch soon.
19/6 - Estimated delivery date passes, no shipment notification. Give up on phone after 30mins.
20/6 - Ebay message sent. Still unanswered.
21/6 - Email sent.
23/6 - Facebook message sent. Customer rep calls to say that the TV is out of stock but they'll "do me a special favour" and find one that will ship "today", but that the delay is a consequence of my ordering something with limited stock. Invoice is sent with the mistake I tried to fix a week ago.
24/6 - TV yet to be dispatched. Not sure I'll have more time to follow up today.
I know expecting customer service from tricky dick might be a little optimistic, but blaming someone for ordering an item that their own eBay store said had ample stock seems a bit rich.

Got an email at midnight saying the order would ship today, and an eBay message at 10am saying they're out of stock and cancelling the order.
Which is it?
…the TV that was shipped yesterday (read: before above two messages) arrived today, with a second now dispatched. Go figure.
Ring them and ask if you can do a click and collect order, its what i did for one of my samsung monitors as i couldnt be bothered waiting for stock to come in.
I'm without a car at the moment and the only DSE nearby with stock is two bus rides away. I can do it, but the free shipping offer was a ton more convenient than lugging a 50" TV on public transport.
My shipment had an incorrect post code so startrack couldn't deliver. They emailed DSE on Friday 20th BUT DSE have not responded to them as of 3pm today. Startrack won't/can't change the delivery details without DSE confirmation.
After 54 minutes on the phone to DSE today, most of it on hold, they took my details and said someone will call me. WFT! At least I convinced the CSR to take all the new address details as it now needs a redirection and had it all logged into their system…. or he was keyboard tapping :-)
The customer service person couldn't get details of my order, took my details and said someone would call me. Poor service - seems the call centre is understaffed and the fill-ins don't have access to the orders.

Well, got my Note 3 yesterday, but one of the box seals were broken, so emailed DSE (the other sticker says don't accept if the seal is broken). No response yet so will probably try ringing them tomorrow, sounds like I'll be on hold for ages…
paid for 49.5" tv on the 16th, ebay page said it would be delivered by the 23rd. ebay page shows no tracking number and no status update, it just says not shipped. have contacted via ebay twice with no response, and am currently on hold to dick smith support (horrible warped hold music that sounds like nonsense)
if i receive no contact by cob today i will be leaving negative feedback and requesting a refund.
I've found they eventually answer eBay messages after approx a 4 day delay.
The rep on their Facebook page is very helpful if you send a private message, but it takes some time for them to confirm details as eBay orders seem to be on a different system.
