😁
fix it to the ceiling and have it double as the down lights?
Hear me out. To your bedroom roof. And….
Create a mount for it with galvanised square steel and eco-friendly wood veneer
Great reference, wrong audience here unfortunately
Why don't you buy it now, and think later!
Great idea, maybe I could even live in it?
LOL
You can live in the box it comes in. Guarantee it'll be more insulated than most Sydney houses.
Why do you need a home when you have 98"
You have a carpark? Lucky. I was thinking of moving into this TV's box.
Staying outdoors, maybe
Check your apartment elevator first. It might not be fit in.
That's what she said
With difficulty… you might be more suited to a triple laser short throw projector.
the big issue is how can you get it to your apartment room? breaking your door?
Move
Could have used your insight three weeks ago.
It's a trick question. The 98" TV will attract Asians and the Asians will buy your apartment.
4k is fine. Any higher resolution benefits the screen needs to be much bigger. Have a look at the screen rather then fall for marketing guff.
How is screen resolution 'marketing guff' lol wtf?
Indeed. Enjoy your 32" 8K screen.
@Given: Ahhh, sarcasm, the lowest form of wit.
Bro, you can sit like 4 metres from it
Insanely good price, considering the several year old A version was until recently selling for double the price at most retailers.
Samsung EDU/EPP store is a PoS experience.
I’ve had no issues in the past.
Perhaps Surfer Dude meant Point of Sale?
I've found it better in the past 2 years. It use to be barely usable with dead links everywhere and random redirections to the regular site
I’ve bought a few phones for family through EPP. I find that as long as it’s in stock and a straightforward transaction it is fine. Just don’t ask any questions. Post sales is a different story.
To use with the PC too?
28' is just too small now I find.
Thanks, we got that comment done and dusted
Damn this is an incredible deal. I got the 98 C845 earlier this month, man i hate ozbargain for making me feel the fomo
What did you pay?
4300
Comparison is the thief of Joy

Did you mean to slide the plug in
@easternculture: What, is, it?
Might get my Teams to help me with that
@serpserpserp: As long as they can apprehend your request
@easternculture: I'll slip them OneNote and they'll understand
Keep an Outlook at the Westpac store
Yo mofos talkin all like crazy n shit
Is this only available in education store? Can't find a similar discount on EPP
Because students regularly buy $5k TVs
Woooooow
Can students even afford this? How can someone who is not a student access this deal?
… The adults that work in education?
My wife’s a teacher! :)
Can confirm this
Idk a lot of students have their parents pay their way. When I went to uni most people either lived at home or received help from their parents. If you don't have any bills/rent to pay then this isn't that crazy.
Idk a lot of students have their parents pay their way
I know a few students that had their professors pay their way
I knew a student with a dr and a lawyer for pairs. He got what he wanted (apart from women)
Have you seen uni Carpark these days? High yield BMW, Audi and mercs littered everywhere.
Thinking about using as monitor, 4:4:4. ?…..
75' is for 2600$ .
Question is.. this is or the TCL c855? 🤔
I'd go for samsung if the price is similar.
TCL no question, I have no faith in Samsung as a brand anymore. Had a Samsung 55" TV - died after 3 years, used Samsung SSDs and mine and family's build - had 4 die and need to be RMA'd from there firmware bug they won't acknowledge the full extent of, In-laws bought a Samsung fridge - Seals needed to replaced after just 2 years then another year later the freezer stopped freezing, Sister had a Samsung Flip - screen (glass under the plastic) cracked along the fold - Samsung refused to fix it under warranty because it had a couple of marks on the external phone frame (an issue that numerous people have reported with Samsung) and finally partner had a Samsung Fold 3 that lost wifi because of an issue with the antenna wires breaking, Samsung wouldn't fix it under warranty so had to use the Samsung Care plan.
Maybe they make good rockets, everything else is junk. To be fair I have little faith in TCL but they haven't screwed me over yet
Had a similar experience with a Samsung TV..died after 24 months…
On store next to each other these models looks very similar on how they perform,so that's why I'm a bit confused.
My Samsung fridge is 14 yrs old and still going strong, not sure about my 2 yrs old Samsung washing machine.
Im loving my 85 inch c855 everything is smooth and the picture quality is amazing. Gamings also very good. Only thing that sucks are reflections.
Get this if you can afford it. It's 98"!
This or waiting for an OLED 83” for the best home cinema experience?
"This or waiting for an OLED 83” for the best home cinema experience?"
Thats entirely up to you. You're either a quality or a quantity (immersion and theatre like experience) prioritiser. I prefer immersion but if someone prefers quality I would say go for that then.
For home cinema, the 98 will give you a better experience than an 83" OLED, it's way more immersive, the blacks are perfect on the 98. The only two issues are the lack of Dolby Vision, or if you are going to have people 40 degrees or more off axis, then the 98 suffers blooming. If you are in front of the TV and less than 40 degrees off axis, you would struggle to notice any difference to the OLED, and the 98 is so much bigger than the 83, much more so than those two numbers imply.
Thanks, I’d prefer immersion over a little more black too. Unfortunately the lack of Dolby Vision may be a dealbreaker. Need to weigh up the pros and cons with the TCL and Hisene options then.
It’s a bit strange Sony and LG still do not have any super large TVs now.
None cheap enough at least
Best home experience blackout curtains deployed. For people that live in the real world or like sunlight on the weekend, its not an option
I just bought an 83" G4 LG OLED for $6400+$75 delivery at Harvey Norman today. So you could still get a 83" C4 for the price from the last deal if your lucky.
Oled's seem outdated with the burn in issues. May as well wait for the next mini LED TV's.
Same price in the gov EPP store. Note: these are both including the 5% off first purchase
Dammit, I would actually snap this up but dont have any access to an edu.au email :(
Westpac rewards 😏😏
dont have that either
Just looked, it's about 6k there
Pm me
I feel your pain. Perfect if you don't wanna change your entertainment unit to suit the typical feet they come with.

How do I fit a 98" TV in my Sydney car park studio apartment?
