right? felt a bit cyber stalked so gave in to his demands 🤣
you don't need to stalk a profile, the green plus next to it shows whether they voted.
now i'm self conscious, here's a vote
@tkboi: No. For me if it’s an insane deal I’d vote to let other members know that it’s really an insane deal.
Get three and just add a roof and garage door. Instant man cave.
Makes for a great second screen for Students!
Haha, yeah, this is the very definition of "Discord screen"
Hope this comes around next year!
I considered it, but I need to change too much based on the weight - 62kg needs a serious support.
Most brackets sized for the TV should do this comfortably - plasma screens were easily in the same weight range back in the day.
just look for a big wall mount, they all support the weight.
Did it myself. Just need a 2nd set of hands
What about one that changes angle and mounted into wooden studs
Look up the specs of the original mount. Many are rated for 100kg+ like https://www.selby.com.au/bracket-finder/60-100in-tv-wall-mou…
Wooden studs are good enough for fixtures in your house. A 60kg TV isn't going to affect that.
"Unfortunately, we cannot deliver in your area at this time." :(
Been waiting for an 85” sub 3k…
Probably don’t need this right????
Can’t seem to add to cart any more.
OOS
This is exactly what I'm after for the living room. A shame I don't have EDU access. Oh well, the wait continues.
Out of stock.
Damn son, where are you going to put that thing?
That's what she said
Samsung tho. Better hope nothing goes wrong with it
Am I the only one who is glad it went OOS? I had the measuring tape out…
Not alone. I was calling around to see who has an edu email. Next TV I'm going big.
Same for me. I’ve set my eyes on an OLED 83” but from checking around people seem to value the huge 98” one for an immersive cinema experience so that will be my next target as well.
I went and got a 83" LG G4 today actually. Negotiated to $6400 from Harvey Norman. Upgrading from a 65" C3.
@Commander Shepard: I've got an old 65" Sony Z9D - which still has great image quality, Dolby Vision, really bright and have wanted an LG 83" OLED, because I have a couple of smaller LG OLEDs for my computer and bedroom….but 98"!
Just bought this for the home theatre and a 55" The Frame (2024) for the living room.
Total came to $6,174 delivered - I am stoked.
it is now back in stock. Probably not for long.
Right you are!
Back in stock. Bought one! :)
So did I.
I only have epp not edu, so cant get the 5% off as the app only works for edu. Still I figured even at $5200 its a hell of a deal compared to the 8.8k its going for everywhere else.
is mini-led better than oled or something?
No OLED is better but you won't be getting a 98" OLED at these prices anytime soon.
ah ok, i thought new panel tech came out lol
Hi there
Ive currently got the QN90A variant from when it came out. Is it worth the upgrade to the D version?
Thanks for your time
The Samsung will be miles better. If you were going cheaper I’d try for a similar deal to the 98 c745 posted Thursday.
How are Samsung miles better, the specs are similar, both are QLED, and Hisense is 4K@144Hz
Samsung is Miniled.
Specs mean so little to a TV’s true performance. Brightness, contrast, colour accuracy, motion handling. That’s what I’d be comparing.
It’s hard to compare to AU Hisense as the models numbers are the same as US but way worse tv’s
Wow! That’s cracker of a deal! Been on the lookout for 98” tv, this one ends my search. Thanks OP 🙏
You seriously stalked the person's ozbargain profile to find if they upvoted a deal…. Seek Help.
