It's so damn tempting, but I feel like I'll regret it in a few months. Apple sure to update their thunderbolt display, Asus/LG /Aog all to get on the 4k train + IPS panels to come. Great price but poor investment, even for gaming.

Much better to get the ASUS PB287Q. Even with that discount from dicksmith on the samsung, I would still go for the Asus at a higher price point.
Excellent price for that monitor. The colours won't be as accurate as IPS but the UHD looks superb for general desktop applications.
Dell and Asus still have their 31" IPS UHD monitors around the $2900 mark unfortunately.

Can vouch for the G710+ keyboard, leaps and bounds better than the G15 keyboard it replaced. It's fairly quiet for a mechanical keyboard too.
I reckon the G710+ would be better than the G19 too as i said. I mean it is a mechanical keyboard.
just because it's mechanical doesn't necessarily mean it's better. More of a preference thing, true the keys will probably last longer themselves but shouldn't be jumping on a keyboard just cause it's a mech if you've never tried one; you won't really know what switches you like. Also G19s has more macro's/hotkeys and the display if you need.
