Just seen this on Amazon US. Great price! It is locked to AT&T though, so will need unlocking. Still should come out cheaper than available here though I think.

  Looks like it doesn't have the 2100MHz frequency, would that be an issue in Australia?

    Noticed that. I think all the networks now have 3g/4g on alternative bands (850 Telstra, 900 V/O), but 2100 has the densest capital city coverage.

  Not easy to unlock. Some UK people selling the unlock code for around $45 AUD.

  I bought one for about the same price 6 months ago, and still waiting for a free/cheap unlock. The average unlock price now is still 30-40USD. You can buy it here when "on sales" for $99.

  So if you only plan to use the Windows phone apps and the excellent Nokia GPS then yeah go for it. If you plan to use it as a phone then better buy them in Aus.
