From an email to existing customers:

Existing customers can renew any existing web hosting service (including VPS) and take 15% off the renewal invoice! And you’re probably tired of me saying this by now, but this is MEGAMayMonth so we have a bodacious bonus offer to go with it. Renew an eligible service and you will go in to the draw to win 1 of 5 80’s blu-ray packs, which includes the complete Nightmare on Elm Street collection, the original Footloose, E.T., Ghostbusters and the Back to the Future trilogy.

To take advantage of this offer, simply login to VIPControl and submit a new eTicket to Billing with details of the service you would like to renew. Your request to renew MUST be submitted to Billing before 5:00PM on Thursday May 15.

Does this apply to Zuver too I wonder?

  • I will never use VentraIP again. They advertise you have full MySQL access so I went and bought some webhosting. Turns out you don't have full access and they wouldn't refund my money.

      From their website:

We offer all customers a full 45 day money back guarantee, and the ability to refund any unused prepaid portions.

      • Hence I wouldn't use them. I'll be happy to post their response if I'm allowed…

  • previous discounts have been 25%, think I'll wait for their "customer appreciation day". Also I might be mistaken but this is the first time I recall seeing the condition that the renewal date must be less than 12 months from today.
