I work in a Westfield Shopping Centre and this was just dropped off to our store from a Dick Smith Employee. Don't know if this will benefit anyone, but just incase :)

  Haha, 10% online most days and this give 7.5% instore. Last year Dick had 15% discount on Apple during easter, so waiting is probably best..

  I went into a Dick Smith store the other day, asked if they matched website site prices (they do) pointed out something on their own website I wanted only to be told they match their competitors websites in store, but not their own website……very very weird.

    That idiot Dick Smith staff member made the Rules up as he goes!

    Tell him you will Report him specifically by his name-tag to Head-Office, ACCC & NSW Fair Trading if he refuses to immediately price-match, as required by law.

  If the advertise Pricematching, it is law that they MUST price match.

  REPORT THEM TO ACCC if they refuse to pricematch as per their advertisement.

    Perhaps you should re-read their price matching policy.

    Dick Smith will match a competitor"s advertised price within 7 days of purchase if it complies with the conditions set out in the Price Matching Advertised Prices Policy.

    Im guessing you're one of those people who throw those "ACCC, Fair trading" words around without knowing anything.
