  • Might want to read this first…

    http://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Hotel_Review-g580509-d255738-R…

    Some less than glowing reports.

    • Yeah, but it's ranked as the top hotel in Mitcham?

  • +6

why have a photo of the yarra
    when it is in Mitcham

    • +1

Heh. Funny that. Maybe not meant for people who actually know anything about Melbourne.

    • +4

      when it is in Mitcham

      LOL…

      Here's the actual view…

      • That is Gold

      • If you move closer to the hotel entrance, there is a garbage truck blocking your entire view of the driveway and reception.

  • Calling it "Melbourne" seems a bit generous; it's thirty minute's drive from the CBD.

    • +2

Saying it is a 30 minute drive to the CBD is even being generous. Though it might be at 2am on a Wednesday night.

      • Saying it is a 30 minute drive to the CBD is even being generous.

It's only a couple of minutes from Eastlink so you can easily get into the CBD in around 30 minutes unless you're trying to drive there during the morning peak.

  • Wow, I'll take the money, stay at my place much much closer to Melbourne.

  • My brother and family stayed there recently.
    They were less than impressed….

  • Who needs wifi on a 'break'.

    • +1

People whose 'break' consists of a couple nights at a second rate hotel on Whitehorse Road.

    • +1

Who needs wifi on a 'break'.

Leave her at home to look after the kiddies ???

      • +1

        Don't bother coming home jv

  • this deal is hilarious

    • Why? there's a great pizza shop there… Right next to the Mitcham Op Shop.

  • Negging because I could not find the actual suburb in the description. I think that is a bit deceptive.

  • Dinner Voucher is for use in Natalies Restaurant

    OMG, read the reviews…

  • If you're going that far out you might as well keep going a few minutes and stay at the Dorset. At least you know there'll be some 'entertainment'!!!

  • Which Foxtel package does it have - basic or deluxe? HD or SD? I always hate travelling because when I watch Foxtel I have to watch what's actually playing and sit through the ads, whereas at home I have the IQ so I can timeshift. :(
