[VIC/TAS] Kopparberg Pear Case (15 Pack) $30 (Save $42) at BWS

290

I have it on good authority that starting Wednesday the Pear flavoured Kopparberg cases are reduced to $30 at BWS. Or $3 for one bottle.

Pear flavour only.

Wow, great price. I hope you're right and I hope my local has some available.

  • How many in a case?

    • -1

24 or 30 last I remember. These are good and don't leave much of an aftertaste. Usual reason they're marked down is they have short expiry dates.

      • +6

Actually, there are 15 in a case. I'm guessing the $3/bottle is for singles only?

"are reduced to $30 at BWS. Or $3 for one bottle."
      I assume 10.. ;)

      • +2

Cases are cheaper than per single bottle sale

        • -1

ah, well if you save $42 I guess that's 24 to a case, good deal

        • +3

huh? They normally are 15 to a case. The OP's price of $3 per bottle is the price on special if you buy 1 bottle.

        • If $3 was the regular price per bottle, and a case was the same price as 24 ($72), then there wouldn't be much incentive to buy a case. People would just buy individual bottles as it suited them.

So the $3 price is also substantially reduced…

This should be posted on OzRumour

    where's the link ?

    • Gotta link to OzRumour? ;-)

      • Just confirmed - already scanning singles at $3/bottle, used by 31/3/2014. No slabs at my first store - moving on!!

        • Hmmmm, used by 31/3/2014… so a Broden is out of the question?

    • +1

I don't care if you believe me or not.

This deal starts tomorrow, you can take that to the bank.

        This deal starts tomorrow

Where's the link so Dan can price match ?

  • +2

Bad news - can't find any slabs anywhere…

Good news - got confirmation that they are clearing the warehouses, so stock will be showing up from tomorrow onwards!

    • Cheers for investigating and OP did say that the deal starts on Wednesday.

  • +4

Confirmed, thanks op! Also note this was $30 for 15, making them $2.

    • What was the best before date on yours?

      • +1

2nd of July I think, it started with "Ju" lol, its out in the car. Might have been June.

These will all be best before end of March.

    • +1

      Mine wasn't, see above.

$45 case $4 bottle at my local BWS (Randwick, Sydney)
This is of course still good, but disapointing

    • +1

This is the same price listed online too btw

    • +1

Same at my local. $45 may be good too, but I can't bring myself to pay that when others are getting it for $30. Have I just been ozbargained out of a good deal?

    • +1

I got the same at my local.

  • Grabbed a case for $30, awesome deal, thanks OP! My case expires 31 March fyi

    • Not in WA - stores quoting $45 for march expiry cases. so buy fresh at $45 and leave the march ones behind…

      • That sucks but still a pretty good price. I guess only certain States have the $30 cases. I'm in tassie btw

        • Eagle what store in TAS did you get your's from?

  • Damn.. wanted other flavours

  • Unfortunately it appears in WA it's scanning up as $45…anyone else confirm?

    • yep $45 at midland stores…and they gave me a real funny look when I suggested it might be $30 :P

  • I've checked 5 BWS stores in SA. Some of them have no cases of the pear at all, others have very limited stock. Those with limited stock only have the July expriry date and they are $45.Still cheap at that price so I have a case in my possession.

    • I got one for $45 as well since there was no $30 March stock. Still! $30 would have been amazing.

  • Got last one at Riverside (Tas) - $30, Mowbray is out of stock.

Picked up 1 from bws maryborough Vic there were around 10 left great value for $30 thanks op. Was a long walk home though arms are aching time for another cider.

  • +1

I believe the $30 price is Victoria only.

    • Seems that way. No idea why they get favouritism.

The title should be updated to reflect Vic & Tas only price.

      • +2

If you live in vic/tas then you should be allowed to drown your sorrows cheaper. Call it compensation

        • Definitely, if only more companies offered this "compensation".

  • Picked up the last one at Brunswick, thanks!

  • The $30 price is online for me. Not sure if it will vary by location. But this will at least help those who have not been able to find it in stores.

    • Huh.. For some strange reason mine defaulted to NSW, and it's $45 there!

Changed to VIC and it's $30. I noticed they are piled high and marked at my local at lunch time - can take a pic if anyone needs it.

  • Just checked out Moonee ponds BWS, 15 ciders for 30 bucks, still had heaps of slabs! $2 cider, cant go wrnog! brilliant for long weekend!

  • Still available at Dan Murphys also (bought @ Geelong West). $29.90 , some with expiries as late as June, got me a couple! Thanks OP.
