  • iPhone app not currently available in the Australian AppStore!

  • That is strange! Apologies…let me see what went wrong here

I've changed the details to say just Android for now. Not sure why the app isn't available in the app store when it was there before. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! #fail

  • there is a subscription package within the app for $1 a month that opens up an additional 17 offers

So, this is like a paid version of Scoopon, or COTD ???

    • It's slightly different to Scoopon or COTD where you end up dealing directly with the cafe or food outlet and because they don't receive any cash beforehand from prepayments, the onus is still on them to make sure they provide a high quality offering.

We like to think that the overwhelming majority of the businesses we allow to be a part of Klaimed are of a high quality and they like dealing with us because we don't take any cut or commission from them.

For the free ones there's no stings attached. Just go up to the business and redeem your offer.

      • I'd rather know what the deal is before paying you money… Otherwise, it's not much different to gambling.

Users can see every single deal that's available before making the decision to subscribe.

So the moment you (successfully) open the app you'll see all 20 offers that are available to use.

3 of them are free for you to use and if you like the look of the other 17 you only have to subscribe once to get access to all of them.

  • Just downloaded the app and it keeps crashing on me. can't even open it!

    • +1

Maybe that's why Apple pulled it off the store?

    • Hi! what device are you using and software version are you using?

      • I'm using Xperia Z with Android 4.3 and it crashes constantly. I've only gone past the verification.

      • Sampsung Galaxy S3, and I also have only just gone past the verification.

        • So the app itself keeps crashing when you open it now? Was the verification process successful? are you on 4.3 as well?

        • Not sure if the verification process was successful. I think I saw it says loading offer before crashing.

But now it just crashes whenever I open the app

        • Android version 4.1.2. on the next step past verification. It says your GPS is disabled want to enable it (or if it's enabled then no message) and then it just crashes.

        • GPS needs to be enabled for the offers to show up properly.

Could you guys try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it to see if that works?

Sorry for all this! I wonder if it's working fine for others?

        • I had my GPS enabled and it crashes after the GPS icon is flashing on the notification bar.

Re-installed the app and still the same outcome.

        • Are you guys able to send me a message directly and we'll make sure we sort this out and take care you!

        • That is just when the crash occurs. If the GPS is on or off makes no difference.

  • Doesn't sound like there was much testing done on this app.

First it gets pulled off the Apple store, then it crashes and won't run on Android phones.
Maybe they'll have better luck with the Windows phone version?

    • We've realised the reason the app was pulled was because our Apple developer licence had expired (after months of testing on iphones). We're in the process of renewing it now.

Thanks everyone for your patience! Admittedly the android version is a newer version of the app so we're still finding our way…
