Nope, closed until Saturday the 15th. Had a look in the window and there appears to be quite a bit of stuff still on the shelves. Doesn't give an opening time for the 15th.

My local is finally closing. They had "New Release Games $35, Weekly Games $25"… I asked when they'd be selling them at cheaper than RRP

and Hartwell -which was my old store.

and every store in the US
and blockbuster announcing the introduction of 4000 kiosks in the near futurethough Blockbuster Aus is a totally separate business from US Blockbuster

And you know the ironic thing? "Netflix was offered to Blockbuster for $50 million in 2000, but the sale was declined"

my local video store is thriving, where I can get a new release on bluray for $2 overnight.
I cheer every time a blockbuster closes down. They came in and wiped out so many small video stores by coming in with cheap prices then once everyone was closed down jacking the prices up. The end of that chain in Australia can't come fast enough for me.
