  • Hulu done, spotify I couldn't get them to accept my payment details (PayPal and prepaid cc).

    • also having trouble with spotify

Might want to add it's not 2 months for the Zinio thing… it's one month and then you're charged from the second month (inclusive)

    • "Your free trial includes 3 Z-Pass titles for 2 months. You will be automatically charged $5.00 US per month after your free trial. "

      • -1

Have you ACTUALLY tried following it and using it on a Zinio account? It only activates on your account for 1 month (despite those terms and conditions).

EDIT: Ahhh… "New accounts only"… bugger, that's why… but hey, thanks for the neg, geez.

  • Hulu tells me the code has already been used.

it seems the link is unique, go to the offers.bestbuy.com and click it from there. worked for me

      • You are right. Don't click the shortcut links in the OP. You have to guy via bestbuymobile.

    • Same… it offers me a 1 week trial instead. pfft…

  • im new to all this. Is it easily streamed to australia?

    • Yea but VPN &/or DNS may be required or
      use Hola if PC…

      • I've got a Hola chrome plugin, but it doesn't seem to work.

        • I couldn't get Hola to work on Chrome. Try Media Hint extension, it worked in overriding the BBC iPlayer restrictions to watch the latest Sherlock episodes, so I assume may work on others.

I can't seem to pay with paypal, anyone else have the same problem?

    • PayPal wouldn't work for me either. Just keeps looping back to login page.

    • +1

you need a US paypal account

    • +1

You cannot use paypal, you must use a credit card.

  • Perhaps if use US address on paypal account? That usually works, will try shortly. :)

  • +3

For those who don't want to use their credit card, you can use an online credit card generator. Worked for me.

    • thanks for that.

    • Which generator? And for which subscriptions? I just tried with Hulu unsuccessfully..

      • Just type in 'credit card generator' to google. Make sure you have one that generates the CVV.

        • the code generate doesnt work. maybe i miss a step?

      • I've used Entropay a number of times, no worries at all. The first time I used them was specifically for the purpose of setting up a Hulu+ account.

        • +1

Netflix apparently no longer accepts Entropay. Can anyone who has successfully used Entropay please let us know if it worked for you today for the Hulu Plus and/or Spotify deals here?

        • I would like to know this as well, I've heard the similar things.
If you want Netflix, try gifting your self (netflix.com/gift) - it worked for me after trying a couple of different cards.

        • you still need to enter credit card details for pre-authorisation when u sign up to netflix, even if its a gift

      • Tried Hulu and as you said it doesn't work. The only one I found to work was Zinio…

  • Zinio is coming up as AUD$12.50 per month after 2 months instead of US$5.00

  • For Hulu, if you've done a free trial before, you can't use the same credit card this time or it will recognise it.

  • is it possible to cancel a huluplus subscription but keep the 2month trial going? like what skype allows you to do?

    • -3

      HA HA

  • No luck for me, couldn't get Hulu or Spotify without valid payment details…

  • Amex works fine :)

  • I managed to get Hulu to work. All you need is Hola Unblocker, a valid credit card number, and a US post code. No Paypal needed. Also I recommend to go to your account settings and put your subscription on hold.

    • Why putting it on hold?

      • Actually forget what I said. I thought it stops auto-renewal.

  • for Spotify it shows 30days free trial for me. Anyone else? (Premium 30-day Free Trial
    $11.99 / month after trial period )

  • I was able to do 2 months free with Hulu and followed instructions on Just Unblock and was able to stream to my Surface RT tablet and got 2 weeks trial with Just Unblock and my Australian credit card worked with US zip for the trial with Hulu+ but I could not get the Hulu app on Android as Google play refused to let me download so I cannot watch it on my android mobile, just on browser on SurfaceRT.
But then I still need to pay Just Unblock to stream Hulu although Hulu is free for 2 months, Just UNblock is not free only trial for 2 weeks.

  • Hey does anyone know if Hulu will charge us automatically after the end of the trial? It says: "Your 2 month free trial will end on March 18, and your (credit card) ending in xxxx will be charged $7.99 for your regular subscription."

    • sure they will, why wouldn't they..

  • Offer only available to new Hulu Plus subscribers, damn is there a way around this other than opening another account

  • no luck unable to download hulu app for android from Amazon, says not available for your… tried the amazon android app also say same thing.

  • I now have used every vpn I know and Hola to change my location for spotify but everytime it takes me to .au site with only 30days free trial.

  • Can't be bothered putting payment details in and having to remember to cancel before I get stung, otherwise good deal

  • +1

Wasn't able to get the Spotify 2 months free however direct link for those who potentially able to:

    Spotify 2 Months Free link

    • Do you need to VPN to do this? On the next step Spotify detects that you are from AU and reverts to 30 day.

      • +1

You most likely do, I could sign up and see the 60day trial thing (using VPN), but my card couldn't be accepted.

        • It's weird. I've connected using VPN and no matter what I do once you click on Start Free Trial it detects that I'm from AU and reverts back to 30 on the next page.

The "Limited for Best Buy Mobile.." page shows 60 days.

  • Beware - I got a 30 day free pass to Zinio courtesy of Qantas Frequent Flyers and I cancelled before the end of the trial - they charged me $12.50. I'm sure I'll get it back, but it is still not nice when that happens.

    • Yeah you have to go into your library and subscriptions etc and deactivate auto renewal every single time you accept one of these offers… annoying but still worth it!

      • I did that, but still got charged. They were OK about it and refunded my money.

  • Awesome deal. Will finally get Hulu+

  • I have hulu+ running on my android, but I cannot get the show running, all US-residents required blahblah..any solution? BTW seems hola unblocker cannot see the official apk 2.11 downloaded from the internet..

  • Just signed up, easy as hell with Getflix for DNS.
    Running on PS4.

Wow, didn't know they had the Criterion collection. Awesome stuff right there.

Outside of thee classics, some great arthouse/indie and foreign films, the movie section falls to bits.
So for mainstream types, not great for movies.

  • What the hell I just realised I got charged on the first day of this subscription!
