Good deal. Now just waiting for the Windows Apps Store trolls…

    • The Windows app store sucks man, and so do you! ;)

On a serious note, it wasn't the best 6 months ago, is it better now? I do miss minesweeper, but I have discovered do it on Windows 8 desktop and it's filling the void quite well

offers the best value for your hard earned money? Lost of peoples consider WP is shit.

  • The app store is getting better… But still a long way to go, I still can't believe how many "web page like" apps there are when I play with my 8X.
Apparently developers simply don't really care about WP, that's why my daily driver is still android.

    • i mean do you remember android store last time around, it was like that too but it improved overtime. i use htc 8x (coming from android) and the app store is definitely growing at steady pace.

      • yeah back in 2009, it was crap. There was a time when android upgraded to version 2.3, at that time the Android Market was growing incredibly fast… haven't seen that on WP yet, but some popular apps have been appearing on WP which is good news.

BTW does anyone know of a good free youtube app on WP? The official one is just crap as it's basically a shortcut to the youtube mobile site.

        • Metrotube has an unlimited free trial.

myTube, which I prefer, is limited to 1 hour of videos every 3 hours.

Both are 99c if you want to purchase.

  • cheaper than Harvey Norman's 1/2 yearly sale $148

  • T&Cs on this site look dodgy to me, anyone dealt with then before?

I got this phone for my wife after she'd been using Android for a couple of years and she loves it. Best bang for buck I think.

  • is this phone cost only?
    unlocked?
if we keep the phone after the 30 days?
am a small newbie lo tech user payg only and need a new phone with some smart apps.

  • Can you just buy the phone from Yatango, or do you need to get a SIM as well. I am already an Optus postpaid customer, but need a reasonable backup phone as my current one is playing up.

  • So how do we purchase the phone with the free trial? All I can select is the PAYG offer which is $0/month. Otherwise it won't allow me to add just the phone into the cart?

    Any ideas anyone?

    • Nevermind. I worked it out, just go through the check out process and on the second step you can select the free trial. It ended up being just under $160 (with shipping and cc surchage). Not too bad compared to HN but for a 900Mhz version.. it is overseas stock though.

  • Is this the RM-914 (HSDPA 900/2100) or RM-915 (HSDPA 850/1900/2100) model? Last time I checked, only the RM-915 was available in Australia which can't take advantage of Optus' 900 MHz band.

  • 5 colours available? There's no blue.

    • There was. I got mine on 6th January. This deal is now over a month old. BTW, Quite happy with the phone, but have decided to stick with Android over Windows Phone.
