Possibly targeted to those who didn't spend $20 or more in the previous promotion. Can I suggest to those who aren't sure what to buy that there is an option for a donation to the Starlight foundation. It's a win-win then, donate to a worthy charity, get a tax deduction and a $20 credit!

Sometimes scoopon seems slow at sending out messages, for instance I received the 1c Myer card offer after it had expired.
I didn't get the email and was able to purchase and got free delivery - I only bought $15 worth of things. Hope that helps. :)
Does this appear as a Store Credit (under My Account) or does it just sit their invisible until you make a payment from January 1st to 31st? I purchased a voucher At 12pm on the 26th and received no notifications or anything to tell me I now have the $20.
