Free Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership - Save $82.50

111

Got an email for a chance to win Kings Of Leon tickets in NSW. Saw there was a link to free membership.
Pity I PAID for mine a long time ago.

Hope this helps someone!

You can get free membership via Woolies Everyday rewards.
    From their FAQ:
Don't have a Qantas Frequent Flyer account? Then just register online at everydayrewards.com.au/easylink - you wont even have to pay the $82.50 joining fee

    • not everyone wants to join edr especially if it's not necessary for qff :)

QFF isn't worth paying for any more. That's why they're giving it away! Used to be the issue was getting seats with points of QFF, these days it's the ripoff 'taxes and surcharges' (LOL!!) that you pay in cash ON TOP of the points quota when you use QFF to book a flight. Do the sums, the points have been devalued to nothing much at all……

    • Any threads referral for the above? Just wondering since I am thinking of switching from flybuys to QFF.

Why switch? use them both side by side at your convenience

        • Because I have a flybuys credit card and a QFF credit card. My question is asking which CC should be the main day-to-day spending card.

        • Whichever store you are in. FF pay more points when shopping at Coles, QFF more at woolies.

      • There is extensive discussion of this issue on the Australian Frequent Flyer site. Note this is an industry blog and not a Qantas site. Here's a sample blog thread amongst many

There are already plenty of free ways to get Qantas Frequent Flyer membership, so this is nothing special. See the dozens of deleted "free QFF" posts in the Qantas deal history on OzBargain: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/qantas.com.au

  • The card you get from this offer can be used a prepaid master card.
I use this card number for getting some deals which need CC details without any risk :) :)

  • It has a CC number on the reverse. You can load currency on it and use as a travel card.

Why do people keep posting this? It is not a bargain…

    • Got to feed the trolls

Really does this have to be posted as a DEAL once every 3 weeks or so? Free QFF membership is widely known.

    • Yes I agree, every 3 weeks is too much

Every 5-6 weeks would be much better

Because of the existing of Everyrewards, the FF membership is really joke, isn't it. I bet if someone pay $82 to buy the membership, he will be definitively regretful and think himself as a stupid.
