Of course. The new Thor movie comes out the following day.

Are you able to buy tickets at the box office for $20? Otherwise the deal is $25 courtesy of the absurd online booking fee.

$20 for two tickets, and you've got a deal

  • damn…for the Mexicans only

  • nothing worth watching…not even on gold class

    • Grab 16 mates, 4 xboxes, hire out the cinema and play halo.

      • I know you're only joking but just as a random bit of trivia; this is actually way more expensive than you think!
Turns out you have to pay for every seat in the cinema (which I guess makes sense, but ends up being frickin' expensive)
And generally even the smallest cinemas have around 60-70 seats
        Yeesh!
I know this cause I wanted to hire out a cinema for my birthday :(
The OB'er in me could NOT deal with paying for seats that weren't even being used! :p

        • The Gold Class cinemas I've been to didn't have anywhere near 60 seats. More like the 16 Mahogany Granger referred to.

        • I actually wasn't joking. A mate of mine hired one to propose to his girlfriend by doing something similar to that famous youtube clip. Anyways, they broke up after he paid the deposit so he decided instead to throw a halo lan party inside the cinema. Don't know how much it ended up costing him though , but xyzzy is right, it didn't have probably half many seats as a normal cinema does.

I enjoyed Gravity, Rush, Prisoners, and About Time, all of which are currently showing in Gold Class.

    • Have to disagree! There's actually a lot of good movies playing at GC for those three days.
If you're a movie buff you may have seen most of them by now, but there's still options. It's much better than the recent hoyts la prem/ directors suite deal where there were like 4 movies playing and they had all already been out for ages.
I'm definitely taking advantage of this deal. Thank you OP!
