  • $776 from PCCG plus postage which is $39 in my case for NSW.

      I got $885: http://i.imgur.com/IbBwrU1.png

I'm guessing you used different RAM and didn't include the build cost.

Correct. I build my PC's… sorry I didn't take the build into account. My bad. thanks for pointing this out.
        I used the cheapest 8GB 1600Mhz stick.

The problem with these CPL deals is there's always a part or parts I don't want.
It's a great price if the parts were exactly what you need.

CPL should create some deals off these builds from Whirlpool:

    • Totally Agreed…

The problem with these CPL deals is there's always a part or parts I don't want.

Isn't that the same with all prebuilt desktops and the reason many people build their own.

  • Does anyone know if that power supply run a resonable graphics card and an extra hard drive (or 2 hard drives)

  • Hey REP, what's the deal with you not accepting credit cards at all, or PayPal over $700, for online sales?

I was going to buy a couple of higher-end custom systems from you, but your lack of payment options put me off.

  • Hi there CPL o/

Through your website u can't pay by credit card or via paypal, will the site be updated?

  • The deal says To take advantage of this offer, payment MUST be made TODAY via PayPal or bank transfer.

Tried to order and at payment stage it says you only do Paypal on amounts under $500.
I only use Paypal for my own protection so you have lost a customer.
You need to correct your miss leading payment statement.

    • Tried to order and at payment stage it says you only do Paypal on amounts under $500.

It's down to only $500 now? It was $700 a several weeks ago when I tried to buy a couple of $1k systems.

Wow, what does PayPal know that we don't? Are they getting a lot of complaints and dropping their limit?

Pity the REP does't bother to reply to customers. I've posted my question three times so far and they are still ignoring it. Guess it's a touchy subject for them.

I only use Paypal for my own protection so you have lost a customer.

I want to use my credit card for 1) the extra year's free warranty, and 2) for the added consumer protection it gives.

I'll never just send money directly to a bank account. If there's an issue, you're basically forced to take them to small claims court to get your money back.

      • PayPal costs too much money for the merchant to receive the payment, that's why they have placed the limit on PayPal - it's not imposed by PayPal….

  • Hey Rep,

Any chance of something similar to this coming back online?

  • I have the same problem, i am happy to pay via paypal but there is no option for it (well for any transaction more than $500. I am happy to pay by credit card, but there is no option for it.

Confused as to how to pay for this deal.

  • hi rep - any chance i can get this without any hdd ? what will be the price. thanks

  • fix this paypal thing and I reckon I am in

  • Got an email at 5.30 and now am all sorted, thanks CPL o/

  • Well, not sure on the H87… but almost a nice hackintosh build…

  • heh rep why not just do this deal again without the SSD and get the price below $700 for paypal to work …i think many would prefer a no disk configuration
