  • Rep,

had a quick look at the course description.

the classes are 2 days a week, so I like to do weekend instead of Mon-Tuesday. Is that available?

is the course free or does it cost money?

    thanks

    • Sorry we don't have a scheduled class on the weekend yet. but if you register your details and advise us that you are interested in a weekend we can contact you once we do. Also if you are eligible for government funding then the course will be at no cost.

'Candidates must be eligible for government funding for offer to apply'

Just in case if you jump on this offer for camera..

Also, to be noted, this course runs for the whole year, with two days of classes a week.

And to throw in 2c, the government only funds your first course, so if you decide to get a real qualification later on better have some serious cash saved, as full price tuition is $$$. Something they forget to mention to the hordes of fast food workers who now have a gov funded degree in hamburgers

      • -2

That's not true the government will fund courses as long as it is an up skilled course. for example if you have completed a certificate 3, government funding is still available to you if you choose to do a course certificate IV or higher.

This offer more feels like those free globes exchange to energy saving replacement kind of program where they suck in govt. funds by providing things for free.

I hate that many company abuse the system which is made to benefit those in needs and develop the country, but not to make it a business.

    Is this… tax payer funded?

If so this makes me feel sick.

  • so how do people know if they are "eligible for government funding"??

  • So you are luring people who may not have intended to do this course by offering a free dslr. Then the government covers the cost of this training from which you profit enough to offer the cameras. So in a sense the tax payers are paying for you to give awsy cameras. An absolute neg from me

    • its a $500 camera

if you're stupid enough to be lured into a year long course for that, you deserve it

This feels like it is scamming a government program.
