    The JVC is great because it has digital radio (DAB+) too - bit of a pain in install the windscreen antenna, but a great head unit overall.

    Kenwood is $128 delivered.
    JVC is $186 delivered.
    So you have to spend $58 more for the JVC as no pick up is available.

  You could just buy a cheaper similarly spec'd Single DIN unit and then fill in the void with a single DIN spacer. Or a piece of cardboard painted black depending on how fancy you are.

    way more trouble than they're worth. I've had a lot of mates buy chinese stereos, yet to have one of them go more than a year without issues

      I have had an Eonon for over 3 years….didn't have a single problem. Mrs has an Eonon for last 2 years, no problem. I bought another Eonon last month to upgrade to an unit which does TPMS.

      I know 100001 people who use Eonon who never had any problem. You are free to check Whirlpool or even Google for reviews about Eonon. For the price, they offer tons of features and not bad quality either.

      My current unit monitors tyre pressure, has a slot for reverse camera..but I never use that, supports digital tv and radio, dvd playback, GPS, etc.

      And it's a double din.

      Cost me below $300

  are those unit universal can i install them at any car ?

    They have both single and double din units. If you have a new car, usually the car's entertainment system is built inside the dash layout. You would have to search for the specific one for your car then. Other wise if its an older car, any of their single or double din units which fits your deck slot works fine.
