    Wow, I thought it was because the owner forgot to clamp the bowl…but she says

    "Unfortunately the bowl of this mixer doesn't lock - it just sits in the base and is meant to stay there. It's one fault in a very, very long list. The most frustrating is when it slaps the mix to the side of the bowl out of reach of the beaters! Breville have been awful to deal with"
